The stock yfz, 400ex old raptor tires indeed hook up very well, problem is they wear very quick and in turns they fold. the sidwewall are not very strong.

Irazrs are a awesome tire. they hook like a mother fucker and sometimes almost too much, ive been on a few hills where they would spin and all of a sudden the hook up, and you had better be pointed the way you want to go, otherwise it's tree city for you, lol. And for the front, so far the best tire ive tried was the Razr 2. so far I havent found better tires than MAXXIS

the stock yfz, 400ex, and. old raptor tires are not bad for stock tires. I usually run them when not racing and riding the local trials. and I even ran 2 laps at the wisp GNCC on the stock rear yfz tires when my razrs got sliced open on the first lap. I wouldnt recomend them for anything but playing around, but they did let me finish a race at one of the worst tracks that was notorious for eating up tires can't wait to try out the new ballance Razr
