  1. You ahve to have the rear wheels off the ground, and the swingarm bolts loosened (Top and Bottem) (the ones that are hard to get to through the brake disk. Then you tighten the chain using those 2 and they have to be hitting te flat part of the carier (mine tend to move up and down) these do not set the adjustment, that is done by re-tightening the 2 Nut's (well theres 4 of them really) Therse are only used to adjust the swingarm evenely and set the tension, they do not hold the tension though!.
  2. Thats how my black lables look too, but in the sun it HURTS to look at my friend ITP's Won't last long though, sand has it's way with rims... Course I think they are also only polished on one side, but so are my douglas blue lable rims.... I looked up the ultimates. It says they are the Lightest AND strongest, but at $150 per wheel I could buy another entire set of tires...and I already have a huge Bill to worry about...
  3. the V-force will give yu the best response, the only timme not to run them is when you can't they are not suitable for Alcahol, and can freeze and break from NOS
  4. thats cause they are not spun rims liek the douglas
  5. Won't that make the rear end stick up way higher than the front?
  6. my friend just bought a set of Polished C-series for his 250R and they were WAY shinier than any douglas I have ever sceen, And I have 4 brand new rims ordered 2 years apart on mine. It almost looked liked his were chrome they were so shiny! Now if you get the unpolished ones the douglas will be way shinier in comparison. I don't think the ITP's spun tires like the Douglas which gives them the bling bling factor if you get the polished ones. Sceen it with my own eyes, and it's not a little difference it's ALOT! However they are too heavy for my tasts. .5 isn't a ton but 2 lbs difference or even 1.5 is alot. Since you multiply by 10 for rotating mass. THats like removing 30 lbs of junk from yur banshee, save another 4 lbs by getting real tires (shaved Extremes) and save another 80 lbs worth of dead weight. Believe the Ultimates are much Heavier but also alot stronger but I am not positive, they are about 3x-4x the cost too, so I don't think they are worth my time. This is for the normal C-series I guess the others are for 4x4's as mentioned
  7. So If you get Long Travel In the Front you also Need Long Travel For The Rear? I agree square tubing is Stronger when welded the same as round as well as made of the same material.
  8. Info From Rocky Mountain (SHIPPING WEIGHT NOT ACTUAL WEIGHT) C-Series ITP 10x8 6lbs Douglas Black Lable 4.5lbs Douglas Blue Lable 4.0lbs So I'm guessing that ITP's are a bit stronger and the C-series DEFINATELY are MUH MUCH Shinier and cooler looking. However Performance wise Blue lable is king. Now to decide between Black and Blue lable since I do some jumping I'm thinking the extra .5 lbs (of Rotating Mass ) may be worth the sacrifice for a little extra strength.
  9. I called ITP, and the C-Series for the banshee 10x8 are 6lbs each, sounds heavy but I have not been able to find any documentation on the Blue or Black Lable Douglas. I'm even considering going with blue lable again, although I'm not sure it is worth the couple bucks to have new tires mounted on old rims...
  10. could be rich, could be lean. How long did you run the plug? Also We cannot see a good shot of the Electrode Arm or the base of the porclin. Looks to me like a new plug you ran for a little while and it could be rich. I'm not sure why everyone thinks it looks lean since we obviously cannot see any of the key areas.
  11. nah it looks to me like a 12-port not a dune port, I was going to get a dune port from him for alot less $$
  12. I didn't think a dune port was a 12-port which is it?
  13. he has been a bit difficult to get ahold of recently but not that hard, his email does not seem to be working for me....Only thing that sucks is that it takes his chrome shop forever. I have been waiting for over 8 weeks for my swingarm and I know it has been at the chrome shop for at least 5 weeks! I don't know if it will even be ready this season I only have 1 more for sure trip planned!
  14. small voltage rectifier for like $1 put both wires into the rectifier, DC power comes out, thats all you need. however a small $2 capacitor is recomended to smooth out the power.
  15. No it's not! LMFAO
  16. I sceent he new ITP C-series Polished and they have a way better finish than any Douglas I have ever sceeN!@
  17. Well that sucks, bikes are not worth nearly as much as Banshees
  18. 2006 has been the last year for some time now...Yup get them new while you can!
  19. yes, the 0 mark must be lined up with the casting mark on your engine case for a 0 deg advance. etc.
  20. Did you adjust the timing plate correctly?
  21. He Probably Changes it every race also.
  22. I dunno I already bent my blue labels, they did last quite a while, but I did bend them once I started jumping a little, and I plan to get crazier once I get my front TCS suspension. Black seems like a good compromise.
  23. I been thinking about this also, maybne a 120mm 12v Rotoron Fan?
