  1. I wanna get some a arms and new shocks. I'm definitely on a budget. ha also I'm clueless when it comes to suspension. any advice on sizes and brands would be awesome. also what's the +1 and +2 sizes and I would like a lot of travel and soft suspension. thanks for the help guys.
  2. ok I'm riding tomorrow and I can't find race gas can I use octane booster with my gas, if so how much and what kind?
  3. ok I know you can modify your mounts and make the yfz 450 shocks work for a cheap shock upgrade, but will the rear shock from the 450 fit as well?
  4. yeah I changed the clutch about two months ago and I had to change it then I've only ridden five or six times since then so it still looks fresh, ha whatsup by the way. is there anyway to make it shift smoothe and is it expensive? and could you just replace 1st and 2nd maybe? idk
  5. when the bike is off it does shift easier but neutral Is still hard to find, and it still does shift a little hard but when I'm full blast in 1st and I wanna slam second sometimes ill miss second or its really hard to click up. also when the bike is on neutral is even harder to find. any ideas?
  6. ok I have a 1997 banshee I just bought, it has stage iv pipes k and n filter with no lid, 320 mains, 4th clip on the needle, my question is my transmission is hard to shift from 1st to 2nd and its tricky to get in neutral as well, how much am I looking at to put a new one in or to have someone to put one in for me. also are there certain ones that are better or what? it will mostly be ridden on the trails and track. thanks guys
  7. yeah, probably, but i def wouldnt get the 200 dollars for them, are the tsls that bad? they look cool as shit, what about the swamp lites? this is just for the back tires too, if that matters?
  8. basically the question is what tire to do you get from this link right now these are the only ones i can chose from because i have the gift cards, are any of these worth a damn? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&id=0057429
  9. yeah thats the thing i just got this sweet deal i basically have 200 free dollars to cabelas and they have only a few tires to chose from and i really dont have the extra money to throw down else where on the all purpose tires, so im either gonna be riding some bald tires for a while or i can get some from cabelas. heres the link for the tires, and yall tell me what would be the best you think, those tsls would look really sweet on the back though http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&id=0057429 are any of these worthy, im just looking for the bargain, thanks guys
  10. O.K. so i am getting a new set of rear tires. The place that i ride is carolina adventure world, they have 4 motocross tracks and 100 miles of trails. If it rains, there is alot of mud on the trails, and alot of the trails are rutted out hill climbs and muddy creek crossings. I love riding on the track, but the hole shots i have arent the best for shooting up hills. My question is this I have a bunch of marriott points from a hotel and i can redeem them for cabelas gift cards, on cabelas.com there are a set of tires, the super swamper tsl atv tire, here is the link with a picture. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true if i was to purchase these tires, could i still sling my banshee around turns and do powerslides on dirt roads or would the side grip too hard and flip me?, i think the correct term is "lateral traction" and also i know they wouldnt be a great tire for the motocross track, but would they be an awful tire, ill probably be on the trails a little more than on the moto track. Also do you think they would pop during those like 80 mph runs down the asphalt. or should i just throw down the 150 for new rear hole shot tires, i think they tsls also look pretty cool too, and im going for the trail type banshee oh by the way i didnt have my college book, im sorry this isnt in mla format if i need to site an sources please let me know ha thanks guys
  11. my bad dude i was writing all of that on my cellphone, ha its alot harder and i didnt feel like pushing shift so many times for periods my bad.
  12. ok so im buying new tires i have lie the x tread hole shots on the back where we ride there are four moto tracks usually not muddy and 100 miles of trails and alot of dirt roads too the trails are alot of steep rutted hill climbs and little muddy creeks and stuff ok i love the feeling of my tires breaing loose on the dirt road and sidng sideways and doing donuts and spinning tires, if i bought a set of the tsl super swamper bogger lookng tire for the rear and just regular holeshots for the froront would d that be a bad idea? and could they handle lke 80 mph street runs without blowing up
  13. ok when the bike is cold I have to choke it to start but starts second kick and for a min while it warmin up it will stall if I don't have the choke half way out, when the choke is half way out it idles perfect that means turn in the air screws a little right, and if so how much should I stargt with half a turn?
  14. is it safe to ride like that though its a small exhaust leak but thed pipes don't budge at all but when idling I get a little blue smoke from that exhaust leak? will it blow up its running pretty fast and strong it feels like
  15. ok my frame is kinda bent i took it to the shop and told the dude to put the exhaust all the way back on, he said there is a spacer or something keeping it from going on, like the other pipe is on perfect all the way up but this pipe there is about an inch and a half or so gap between the end of the pipe and where it shoudl sit on the motor, how can i make it go on, with a bent frame, just brute force?
  16. im thinking its the drain case because if the clutch actuator goes in that one hole its not actually a hole when everythings together, but i can still see it, so idk how that one hole could go through the cases like the drain hole on the left side of the picture
  17. ok if you're looking from the back of the bike its on the left side right behind the serial number that's stamped on the side I can see it I can't get it the screw it brass so no magnets
  18. ok right were the clutch cable connects down at the bottom under the carbs right behind the serial number there is a half inch hole, well my dumbass dropped a screw in it and I can't get it out if I crank it will it fuck up?
  19. ok and when you say 21mm from the gasket surface is that measuring like put the ruler on the gasket and to the very top of the black on the float right? ok so lets say if it was like 16mm from the gasket or 25mm like up or down from the 21 would it still do the same thing and flood ? sorry i keep asking so many dumb questions yall have taught me alot
  20. ok I have another question, if it wasn't the float height making the bowl fill up and flood could it be from the idle screw from the tors eliminator kit not being air tight?
  21. ok I got another question if it wasn't the float making it flood if the new idle screws from the tors eliminator weren't air tight would that make it the bowl fill up like that?
  22. so lifting that tab up will lower the float if the carb was upside down and bending it down will raise it?
