  7. so i'm working on a new power plant for the banshee.i dont need the clutch lever anymore and need to replace it with a master cylinder for the rear brakes.have looked at a few atvs that have a hand lever for rear brakes, but most are cable operated.was also thinking of getting a hydrolice master cylinder and using that, but dont know if it would hold enough fluid..any ideas??

  11. your running the clutch and throttle cables the wrong way.they need to go between the radiator and the stem support.there are 2 hooks that bolt with the stem mount, thats were you cables need to go through.and there is no diffrence between a 87 and a 06 banshee clutch cable

  16. so a freind of mine brought his yellow 06 50th addition banshee for some porting.he wanted to beat a suzuki ltr 450 that was stroked, ported, and worked all up by dasa performance(never heard of them) and was suppost to be banshee killer.so i did some porting and geard it for the 1/8,which is what the 450 wanted to run. fist race was to test the waters(check out the red banshee loose is silencer).the bike is fast, but cant step up to a lightly moded banshee. check out the rider of the 450.that kid weighs about 120 wet verse my 220lb ass. hope you guys like our sundays... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=54517533
  17. its normal for the plastic one to leak..get a billet one and your done with it..
  18. i,m going to give you an example...my last drag bike was a 10mill dm.i had 20x10x10 on 10x9 rims sd23 and she hooked like a bitch.the reason i went with that size is cause there pretty wide at the tree for traction but they get taller as you go down the track, helping get down the track faster.gearing is also going to be a factor...i think that anything bigger for you bike will be a waste of $.we will be trying a set of ar 18x10x10 here pretty soon and i will post up results.this guy has about the same mods as you..
  19. and there a hell of alot heaver too..like the others have said, you get what you pay for
  20. i run a 17 on my trail bike w/about the same mods..
  21. go with the american racers 20x10x10 sd23..
