  5. Theres a guy selling this flywheel on fLee bay... he seems to think that this will not effect anything what do you think caused this? Pry marks?

  7. im in the process of building my motor. im considering different options for carbs. its going to be a longrod +4 stroker with stock cylenders ported by patriot, and a billet head by RK-tek. (17cc domes) tossing around the idea of alky but more leaning towards race fuel because i live in BFE so alky is difficult to get ahold of. Do you think this setup would be geared more towards 30mm carbs? Does anyone have a simmilar setup with bigger carbs than 30mm? let me know

  11. Id go with turf tamers. ive had them on my quads at one point or another. (400ex yfz450) but never on the shee. my friend has a quadzilla with quite a bit done to it. he uses turftamers and loves them. depending on how often u want to change them, id also say ohtsu radials... the stock tires from the honda 250rs and 400ex's. they hook great but i feel they are weak in the sidewalls. although i did pound on them. :sad:

  14. looking for everything and anything to build a potent drag engine. looking for stroker cranks, billet heads and domes and either stock or aftermarket cylinders. Also looking for carbs, and a flywheel. looking for an adjustable stator plate and decent waterpump with a stainless shaft. i have a few stock parts in decent shape for trade like a crank, head and some other odd ends. anything will be considered thanks alot, Big_Dave
  15. hahaha i caught myself being simple... 2mm lower ports would make sence on a 4 mm storker. :shrug: Ill level with yins. heres hopin, but my fantasy DRAG setup would be 4mill hot rods crank with wiseco stroker pistons runnin on VP c12, 34 mm pwks, lightend flywheel, adjustable ignition plate, coolheads billet head... or F.A.S.T billet head with 18mm stroker domes, and shearer sb inframes or toomey t5's. more than likly toomeys because i can have them for a few greens less than shearers... budgeted around $1000 for now not including pipes. Does ANYBODY have a similar setup or know if its gonna build some power.
  16. ok, better scenerio... lets say i had the above explaned setup and stroker domes in a aftermarket head, what would need done to the ports, to correct for port timing?
  17. can you run a +4 mm stroke- +5mm longrod crank without cylender spacers? is there anyone that had the ports redone and a head to accept this mod... or is this impossible?

Aftermarket exhausts are built and designed to develope different power chacteristics over oem. headpipes, mid pipes and scilencers are designed to work together as a package, but whos to say that the packages cant be improved. go to your garage or shed, and look at your banshee, and tell yourself that you should'nt add or change because its a package designed to work together.... think about it.
