  1. Damn I'm so excited...my bike is 150 miles away at the dunes in a toy hauler though. I don't think I can go out presidents and run a dune port stock stroke when I have a set of cubs sitting on the work bench. Guess I'm gonna be wasting a day driving soon.
  2. And ya, buncha plug chops to get it dialed
  3. Awesome, thanks loco, exactly what I was looking for. I'll order 48 pilots and a lineup of mains
  4. Ok, let me start off by saying this is very temporary, and i know 35 pwk's would be way more optimal. This will change in a month or two after i lose wife agro in the off season. (read: im broke) Im going to be running a drag ported cub on gas with 28pwk's. Ive literally been searching for the last hour for some sort of starting point and all i can come up with is set up's for 35pwk's. I'll be running at glamis/gordon's well which is like 500 above sea level. Currently i have 50 pilots, 158 mains and N68A needles. I was trying to figure how the high velocity would effect how much fuel get's pulled through the jets, but it's also gonna be pretty choked down id imagine. So does anyone have any idea or any expierence on somethin like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated
  5. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mcy/3578617798.html I think this is the right place for this...busted 3 wheelie bars with this. Apparently they were plastic.
  6. i did this a when it first came out, honestly i have no idea if it helped though after using them for a few years. lol.
  7. just ordered a new one modded Old one had a wear on the spring and on the shaft where they land
  8. ya got a billet basket and cusions on the way, turns out my shift shaft is worn where the spring is on the end, between that and a loose eccentric screw that's worn terrible my shit barely shifted under power so im gonna order the whole new shift shaft today, and probably the bushing for the kick idler. How much play is acceptable on the idler, cause it's always been wobbley even when the motor had low hours. Just wanna get rid of whatever vibration noise was in there. The shift parts were so worn that i couldnt even get the claws to center up(and the eccentric bolt was loose and cause it to get worn bad)..guessing that's size 13 boots beating on stuff. thanks guy's.
  9. Damn my phone just double posted, sorry.
  10. I'm runnin 60 or so hp, I just want something that's gonna last. Is rebuilding a stock basket a pain in the ass?
  11. I think if you own a banshee more power is always in you're future lol, thanks finch
  12. Thinking magnum billet from fast. Anything else I should replace?

  14. That's what I'm going to do, which billet basket do you recommend? Is the mattoon any good? Kinda on a budget
  15. So i was out last weekend and noticed when i rev up my bike while sitting still, as the rpm's fall back down at a certain point i would hear a weird vibration noise from inside the clutch cover. It didnt appear to hurt anything but got home and pulled it apart and was looking for opinions. The cusions are shot, correct? Also could the cusions being shot cause any kind of noise like i heard. It was just an isolated vibration type noise as it went down past a certain rpm. Everything besides the clutch basket/gear play seems to be solid and tight. Thanks in advance. Added a video of clutch basket/gear play. http://s66.beta.photobucket.com/user/Velir/media/VIDEO0009_zps15b5c635.mp4.html
  16. So went out to Glamis on new years, beat the living hell out of this stator for 4 days, worked flawlessly. More to come.
  17. oh, and definetly use a multimeter without light's hooked up to test the voltage output so you dont murder bulbs. make sure to rev the bike, it shouldnt go over 13-14 volts.
  18. i just put a HO stator on, and ran an extra set of lights with the extra 100w lead from the stator. I mounted the regulator where the tors brain box used to go...grounded the regulator(2 wire trail tech) to the chassis under itself(brown i think), and ran the other wire off the regulator tee'd into the 100w lead Before the switch or lights. http://gallery.trailtech.net/media/instructions/lights/regrec/010-ELV-68.pdf Note this is not exactly how mine is hooked up, since im running 4 lights, but it show's how the voltage regulator tee's into the stator lead. Hope this helps, any questions let me know.
  19. ill be out friday to tues, in the washes i presume. Be cool to hook up with some people from here since almost no one i go with even rides quads anymore. ill post that weekend.
  20. This thread failed to deliver.
  21. let me know if that works booxzzy, ive had mine working great for a few years, but the tach does kinda jump around so i dont pay it much attention.
  22. Who else will be out there?
  23. pm sent
  24. i met evan in person when i bought my stator, he seems to know his shit backwards and forwards, even drew me up a wiring diagram for the extra lighting in no time flat. Can't wait to get out to glamis, keep the reviews coming.
