  1. Hello, Im about to get my cylinders bored, right now the pistons are like 65.92 or something, but those are rare so I want to bore it out .80 over. What do I tell the machine shop guy when I bring the cylinders in? Like what measurements?
  2. wait, so theres only two little c's? sorry, i heard them called circlips. anyways, if theres only two, a bigger one and a smaller one, im not missing any
  3. So, while I was gone, my dad washed out my bottom end for me, but forgot to take out the circlips, now i can only find 2 of them in the yard, they go in every slot right? Could someone show me where to get some new ones? You know, the little half-circlips...

    need carb setup

Need both carbs, preferably stock w/tors removed. Also need the cable for those, and the thumb throttle. Also, I need a filter(s) for those, i dont have an airbox, im looking for something that just clamps on the back. Id like to buy all of this from the same person, and id like to buy cheap! But if you only have the carbs ill buy from you seperately. THANKS!
  5. Recieved like new stuff in 2 days! Cheap prices too! Good guy, will be buying from again!
  6. every thing you need at midwestactioncycle.com top ends are easy, took about 3 hours my first time on the rm125 you can get a stone hone for like $10 at most farm supply stores. do not use a ball hone whatever you do
  7. idk if this is normal on a banshee, but on a yz125, the cases were split and the crank was hard to turn. after a couple hours the crank was easy to turn. got 100 hours out of it before it broke another gear
  8. I was just wondering, could i pull off making my own d-arms with no conversion needed from the j-arm? Also, if so, what kind of tubing do you guys recommend? Im a fairly decent welder, strength is no problem, I just dont want to screw up the geometry of my frame.
  9. oh, ok. idk much about quads, so, my 87 banshee has a j-arm up top and an a-arm on the bottom. thats normal right?
  10. um, i thought that the a-arms bolted right up
  11. where is this at? vitos is like 60 a cylinder
  12. i dont have any money, i guess i gotta go find another weird sized piston
  13. well would a 65.50 work?
  14. is there anywhere i can get a 65.92mm piston though? i dont have time or money for boring it
  15. sorry guys, im in a hurry here, but i have some pistons that say 65.92mm on them, so when i go to order new ones, what do i get? is that .90 over, or what?
  16. well i found some, are there any advantages/disadvantages to pro-lite? stock head
  17. anyone know where i can find some .90 over pistons? and when it says "for oem cylinders, does that still mean its .90 over? and whats the diff if i dont have oem cylinders?"
  18. i have a Right side stock bore cylinder, no rust. id take $80 shipped
  19. no, it would be 8 oz per tank, i meant 12 ounces for 3 gallons i forgot to add my tank size in, but still, thats alot less oil
  20. thank you, thank you
  21. bmw already did this, but the problem with this, is that they are having problems with what to do with the tank in case of a wreck. they already make some exotic cars that run of hydrogen, but the amount of hydrogen needed and stored in a tank, would make a catastrophic boom when punctured. hell, they had a concept car that ran off of air, but not only did they have the same problem, even a huge amount of compressed air wouldnt get you far.
  22. if your burning your four stroke oil in your furnace, or pouring it on the ground, your doing less good than a 2 stroke. in a 5 hour ride, i went through 2-3 tanks of fuel. at a 32:1 ratio that would figure out to 12 ounces of oil for 3 tanks. if your like most four stroke riders, you would be changing your oil after this 5 hour ride, now, in a common bike, the wr250f, the oil level is 1.6 liters, which figures out to 54.1024363 US fluid ounces, BAM! if your four stroke oil is destined for the ground, or for your furnace, you have roughly put 42 more ounces of oil into the earth at each 5 hour interval than their 2 stroke ancestors. edit: not to mention that the four stroke oil is going to be 10X dirtier than the cleaner burning premix. they even make smokeless premix now.

  25. Banshee crank here, looks fine, no scratches that i can see, i will include rods, but you will need new bearings, they were damaged. I can include the little gear on the crank for $10, I cannot guarantee this crank because it did come out of a seized banshee, but it looks fine to me. asking $85 and $15 for shipping
