OK so... I sweated my balls off all day workin on this POS and this is what I ended up with 172 main 48 pilot dirk bike needle, middle clip. 2 turns out I fuckin hate 4 strokes so i donno, it sounds like a LOUD wet fart and pulls hard. The Fuel customs intake was a pain in the anus lol...... but turned out ok. I ended up not using the air box as we usualy ride in the same conditions. I did notice the low end bog right from idle, Is this the problem that the quick shot solves ?? AND i took it for a few good rides and the fan never once kicked in.... WOW WAS MY LEG HOT IN SHORTS

Take ur gas cap apart and gut all that check valve shit. Then drill out the hole as big as u can. As long as u can slide the little hose back on. Also what carbs u running ?? I would suggest billet bowls. I did all that with mine and don't even think twice about runnin out. Hope this helps

I am working on my buddies 07 yfz 450 and am installing the following -sparks racing full system -fuel customs intake and filter i got a new needle and a bunch of jets. i was just wondering what a good starting point is for jetting?? im @ 2300ft OH and where the F$#K is the the air adjust screw???????

is it puking out the overflow? what do the plugs look like? does it rip? or feel lazy? or pop and surge ??

Im runnin 168 mains @ 2300ft with dgh needles in the middle clip, 48 pilots and 1.5 turns out on air screw +8 timing on vp c-12

Im running a Stellar +8 and couldnt be happier. I found it not that bad to dune once i got used to it.

Yes you will need a stock drum and also don't forget to remove the springs that are inbetween the shift forks. And if it was me. I would change the forks. Just cuz there cheap and you never know how that override was treated before you had it

If you have a play bike then go with the +8. i have one and i really dont find it too long. just takes some gettin used to.

Love my shearer's on my unported cub.. pull to the moon, They look and sound amazing. the fit is kinda tricky but with a few washers on the stator side and they fit perfect. I had CPI"s on a stock cylinder bike and i fuckin hated them. they look ugly, hard to get at the plugs and i burnt my legs all the time.. they came on a little sooner than the shearers but oh well, the small amount of low end they got me wasnt worth the other complaints i had. I myself want a set of unsilenced oof's but i think i dune too much and they might not stand up to that type of riding.
