  1. Stock crank, just cyl porting and a wudruff key. Im also on t5's not CPI's. And you are getting 104 with that in the 1/4. Do you have a shop? I chill on 41st all the time with my radar gun and only see some of chichi's little 4mill's getting 102-105 range in the 1/4.
  2. so the long rod will rev slower?
  3. I use the bike to trail ride a bit (long cool straights with some turns) Highspeed trails if you will. I dont like tight junjle type trails. The bike right now has a set of wiseco pistons .50mm, 155lb compression with .40 piston to head clearence. Nicely ported cyl's. Bike tops out at 102 with me (260lbs) on it with 16/40 gearing. Alot of locals around here like the short rod setup with spacer, and I have seen them fly, but I keep wondering if I should go with a long rod cause you guys say they are great. I used to be a mechanic at a yamaha dealer here in Miami call R&R jettech. We used to service and repair atv's and jet skis. I have lots of knowledge on any 2 stroke or 4 stroke. I built my banshee myself, porting and all. I have complete access to a full machine shop. I even built a Raptor I had with a 800cc stroker kit and some juice. But, I am completely lost when it come to a stroker on a banshee as far as what works best. The cyl will be match ported to the stroker. Wont the longer rod rev slower
  4. Which stroker setup is better and whats the diff between the long rod and short rod as far as performance?
  5. any info on a good clutch, how about the alba shift cam?
  6. I trail ride, but yea we have a 1/4 setup on some land my dad owns. We marked off the start and finish and we drag quite a bit
  7. I have a 98 banshee with t5's some nice porting, wiseco.50mm, 150lbs of compression, stock carbs jetted at 290 with 16/40 gearing. The bike runs strong, 103mph to be exact and 96mph in 1/4 with me on it (265lbs). <- That was just background info. Now for my questions, it has an issue shifting from 3rd to 4th, you nearly have to kick it 3 times to get it in, Just started happening and every other gear is fine, sometimes it even gets stuck like inbetween gears (makes it feel like neutral). I built my bike from scratch and have built many 4 strokes, but Im alittle rusty with tranny's. Is this a fork issue? Another thing is how do you guys feel about that alba shifting cam. They (Alba) say it makes shifting alot easier. And for the last one, my bike has a shiety ebc clutch on it and I want to upgrade, whats the best affordable clutch for a 70-80hp motor? Any help would be appreciated
  8. deff need a set of T5's. Let me know if you need a set. Have a good set laying around
