Well I finally figure out what was wrong with this thing not starting, It was the choke plunger o-ring :yelrotflmao: when the choke was pulled it still was letting air get in around the plunger. So I put a new o- ring on the plunger and everything is fine, with the choke pulled it starts in 2 kicks. Thanks guys I do have another quick question, The screw at the bottom of the float bowl If I loosen it fuel pours out the bottom drain (the float over fill drain) but if I tighten the screw it stops :shrug: does this screw suppose to be loose?

Well I just put the 25's in and still the same problem, I cleaned every part of the carb put new air screw in with all new o-rings, cleaned the choke plunger and put new o-rings on that to. One thing that was different it took awhile and I had to pull the choke when the motor was warm so I might need to go the other way and make the pilot screw richer

Yeah the slides are in right, I still have those 32.5 if you want them just holla at me. I think I'm going to leave the banshee along for awhile, that thing is driving me crasy, I think I'll ride the motocycle for a bit

Well I put the 27.5 pilot jets in and still will not start :: I can't figure this out. I'm going to try to put 25's in tomorrow. Only thing I can think of is the choke plunger that will not stay out by it's self :shrug:

The 2 to 1 is a great setup, very easy to take on and off but your going to lose a shit load of top end, now that I have the 28's I don't know if I want to go back to the 2 to 1 ever, You might be right about that not being big enough I forgot your motor is crazy fast. Well just let me know.....

The bike was always ported, it's was setup with too much bottom end, I couldn't keep it on the ground. The bike had no top end at all, Those paul turners really choke the motor a lot, so I just added some upgrades like adjustable timing plate, did away with that 2 to 1 setup and went to 28's, took those paul turner mids off and went to T5's. Now it's perfect, great bottom end and smack your momma top end. Me and you are definitely heading back to the line homie :beer:

Speak of the devil, yeah dude thanks for the 350's man that bitch runs hard, I have some pilots coming tomorrow so I will try those. I be glad when you and 05.banshee.SE get back up and running, that guy mike with the 400 gets his ass handed to him on the daily and know with those 28's it's a shame.... He doesn't want to play any more....... Yo you still wanting that 2 to 1?

Man me and the guy with the ltr 400 been riding every week end, we riding this week end coming up. My bike runs fine it's just I have to take the filters off cover with my hand start the bike put the filters back on and its fine for the rest of the day....I just talk to fastrthnu, I have to pick up a crossover tube from him tomorrow, he sending his jugs out to get bored out, I think 3 weeks to a month for him.....

Yeah I have some 25 and 27.5 coming tomorrow, so I will try those and see.......

man fuck that race gas, The bike started fine with my 2 to 1 setup, it's just these 28's that's killing me but boy when i do get the bike start........I have to hang on. Hows you bike running?

No i'm running 93 pump gas....... The funny thing is once it's running it runs great.......seems like too much air maybe..... I cleaned out the carbs and the choke plunger.....

Oh I almost forgot, I did a compression test and it was 165 each jug and there are no TORS on the carbs......

Hello all, I hope some one can help me out, I really tried searching but couldn't fine any thing that relayed to my setup. I just put stock RZ350 28mm carbs on and I finally got the bike running great but I have one problem. After I let the bike sit for a day or so It will not start unless I take off both K&N filters (Pods) and put my hand or rag over the intake of one carb. once I do this it start in 2 or 3 kicks. I have tried pulling the choke 1/2 out to full out, with and with out the filters on and YES the choke tube is connected to both carbs and not broken. Once I get it started its fine the hold day I ride. Here's what I have done, I have tried 300 mains needle clip on 3rd slot from top (Needle has six slots) same thing will not start the next day, I did a plug chop and found out I was running too lean, so I moved the needle clip down one slot (fourth from the top) and put 350 mains in. did another plug chop and bike was perfect but still the same problem, it will not start the next day. Now each time I did this was with a 1 1/2 turns on the air/fuel screw. Only thing I can think of is the pilot jet which I never changed. I did take out to look at the size, which is a 32.5. I didn't think there was a problem cause the bike ran great at idle and 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 throttle. Sorry to make this so long but I wanted to give all the details. Here's my spec: Trinity stage IV head w/ 20cc domes bored .40 over MX port done by TDR Toomey T5 pipes and silencer Mix 40:1 V force II reeds Boost bottle (I know, I know, I know.......) I'm in Florida so I thing 40' above sea level according to the airport I work at +4 Timing K&N Pods (no air box) air/fuel screw is 1 1/2 turn out, I have tried 2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2, 4 turns out and still nothing Mikuni 28mm round stock RZ350 carbs w/ 350 mains, 32.5 pilot, 4th slot from top on needle (6 slots total)

Gdub, I'm running 20cc domes on a MX port, +4 timing, bored .40 over, compression is 165 psi. I live in florida and I run 93 oct, mixed at 40:1 and my bike runs fine.
