Hey guys, heres a set of polished GYTR YFZ450 +1 a-arms I have modified for the Banshees. These things look great! You don't NEED new shocks, but I would definitely recommend YFZ450 shocks or something else, just longer than stock (Pictures show my banshee with stock shocks, sits low but rides great). The bushings are included, as are the tie rods. You can easily mount these on either your Banshee or your YFZ450. They have two mounting points for your shocks depending on your ride preference. YFZs sit +1 on either side and Banshees sit +3+1 on either side. Asking only $225 shipped if you send me a dipstick for my Banshee ; )

Hey guys I bought a set of 28mm mikuni flat slides instead of getting the tors eliminator kit. Got them on the bike and seems to have a bunch more power but something weird is happening and I am about to pull my hair out. It seems to be running great through the first couple of gears, able to hit powerband and everything but can't quite go full out. Once I try to hit 4th, I try to give it enough juice to hit powerband and it can't get there. The bog at WOT seems to get worse as the speed increases. Sitting in the shop I can take it from idle to WOT and sometimes it seems fine sometimes it starts wanting to bog. It just seems like the bog keeps getting closer to closed throttle as I pick up speed. Don't even think about 5th or 6th. I have been tearing apart this site and search engines trying to find someone with a similar problem but can't seem to. From my reading I thought it was too rich on the mains. My 28mm shipped with 280s installed so I went to 260s, plugs looked the same from what I could tell so I used a set of 210s I had, same problem. I took the 200s out of my stock carbs and put them in and it seems to be running the best but still wants to bog on me full throttle, still not even thinking about 4-6th gears. Its around 30 degrees here, 500 ft above sea level, parts are in my sig. I took the FMF reeds out thinking they could be doing it but no such luck. I am stuck guys I have tried everything I can find. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Chris

hey bro i have a set of polished gytr yfz450 +1 arms with polished tie rods if interested.. they are ready to go on the banshee and the spacers are included. they have banshees sitting 6 inches wider and 1 inch forward. they also have two different mounting points for your shocks depending on the setup you are looking for. thanks, chris

Got after it now that I am out of school. Found that it had 280 mains in it. Had some 260 laying around so I threw them in. Got everything strapped back up, fired her up and its revving very high, I thought i accidentally messed with the idle screw while the carbs were off so tried adjusting them and it just stays running really fast, no matter what I do with the idle screws... took it for a little ride and its still bogging and backfiring at full throttle. I'm going to be working on it some more today and will let you know how it turns out. This thing is pissing me off..

mikenick and joel i invite both you mother fuckers to ever say that shit to my face.. but I digress, a lot of dealers are not even letting them out the door with written consent of top ends after 40-50 hours. Plus, the old yfz450s make quick work of 700s, both in straight lines and around tracks, so i'm a little confused where you guys are going talking about 525 against raptors.. the extra power, better chassis, and more rider oriented yfz450r will continue to dominate for blue. ktms are cool and they have some trick parts on them but like i said before, you put those aftermarkets on the yfz you will have yourself a much more reliable, faster quad.

There ok if your into rebuilding every 40 hours. There for the people who have everything paid for and only use it to race. You would be better off staying with blue, everyone knows that shit... If your into racing spend part of 3 grand in your pocket AFTER you buy yourself a shiny new yfz450r on exhaust, filter, programmer, some hipers and tires and you will be faster than the 525. They do look cool though

all right guys school finally got out last week, headed home to get at the banshee... got it warmed up, then ran it wot. pulled the plugs and sure enough they were black and wet... looks like were dropping the mains down. thanks everyone for the input, ill let you know how it turns out. checked the air screws and set them to 1 1/2 turns out.

yeah thats the one, bummer! i had the cold pipe on the left side last weekend trying to get my banshee going and that was my problem... im not sure man, it just sounded exactly what mine was doing -

you accidentally pulled your choke tube off bro. pull your seat and rehook the tube connecting the two carbs on the insides. let me know if it fixes your problem -

thanks for the replys guys. the air filter is clean. i bought the carbs used so i have no idea what size jets he had in them. i figured its a jetting problem i just dont have experience in carb work i have always had FI. it just has me stumped because the thing runs great until you try to open it all the way up, its like theres a line where it just hits a wall. it sits and idles all day long also. think i have a feel for the plug chop so im going to give that a shot when i get back from school. i run 32:1 on the ngk br8es plugs

i have a set of yfz stockers that put banshees wider 2 inches and 1 inch forward. also have a set of chrome gytr yfz plus 1 inch that would have the banshee sitting at plus 3 on either side and 1 inch forward. also have a set of yfz shocks if interested
