  1. Can't beat that price! Count me in!
  2. Wasn't a big fan of the first design, but this one I'd definitely sport. I like the BHQ logo right where it is.
  3. yeah, my dumb ass figured it out. we had cut all the slack out of the throttle cable with the adjustment on the handle bars. so i gave it all the slack i could, and got it hooked up. Havent' started it yet, as it got too late to continue the project. but will continue on tomorrow. Thanks for your help guys!
  4. yeah i had the tors removed on my stockers. But holy shit, if that cable has to go to the bottom of the carb, i don't know that i have enough slack in the line. I think i was on the right track, but have no idea where it goes from the bottom of the white plastic piece. I'll check Keihin's website. thanks for the response.
  5. i am new to the Banshee scene. Started a build in the winter, and she's just about ready. We took her out last weekend, and since we have had problems with my stock carbs from the beginning, i decided to order some 28mm OKOs. they got here, and now I'm stuck. I can put a pair of stock carbs back together with no problem, but these are a tad bit different. I have asked this before, but you CAN use the stock throttle cable with 28mm Keihins or OKOs, correct? Does anyone have any documentation on how the hell to install these? Pics? Manufacturer instructions? Anything? Here are some pics: Stock cable end: Carb itself: Slide pics: Carb cap: I don't have any idea what help the pics will be, but figured I would post them anyways. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Hit me up!
  6. Sup man? These are fairly easy to configure. If you haven't made ANY changes to it, what you need to do is type 192.168.1.1 into your web browser. If you haven't changed the password, you login using a blank user name, and admin for the password. That's according to their documentation. Here's a setup guide for it: Linksys wrt54g documentation I'm not sure what product version you have, but it may different than the one i chose. You can choose that here: WRT54G Support Page Anyways, after logging in, change your SSID, your default username/password settings, your wireless password, etc. it goes through all of it in the links above. Hope that helps at least point you in the right direction. AFter doing your initial configurations, try connecting to your new wireless name (SSID) that you created using the new password you created. Best of luck!
  7. Yes, slides are on correctly. I have a vented lid airbox with k&n filter. TORS are removed. It ran fine on my street when i ran it up and down a few times. very little change in elevation from where i was to where i am now. Also, the reeds are brand new vforce3s, and honestly, how do i tell the difference on the bowls? they look identical, which i guess could be my problem. lol. I did put new plugs in, and changed over to some brand new pilot 25s that came with a rebuild kit. My homie and i just are stumped. i had a little 4 poke that i putted around on, but this was to be my first time out since i built it. definitely disappointing. I wish i knew more. i'll just finish out my day and try to tune more at home. like i said, got okos waiting for me, so i just really hope i can fix the problem with a new setup.
  8. So we're at Rocky Ridge ATV park in Decatur TX. The shee stalls out as soon as you give it any gas. All i want is to be able to ride it today without causing any damage because i have a set of 28mm OKOs waiting for me at home. Here are my settings: Current Settings: air screws 2 turns out 27.5 pilots 330 mains needle on 2nd clip down (from blunt end) We've changed pilots down to the 25 ,and back to the 27.5. We've changed mains from 330 to 340, adjusted the needle, etc. We are about 500 ft asl. What am I missing? The carb is in pieces in our popup, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know asap. Thanks!
  9. Mila Kunis from that 70's show, and the voice of Meg on Family Guy. Also, if you want to see her in a really funny movie, check out "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". She's extremely hot!
  10. Jesus Christ...do you know what kind of MONSTER modded Banshee that you can buy for 7 grand? Get on Craig's list and search "banshee", or go to the for sale section here. If nothing else, buy one for $2k and sink another 3 or 4 into it. You'll be a lot happier than with a stocker with no mods at all.
  11. Yeah man, Scott's Bonus S works wonders. Oh yeah, nice bike too.
  12. i bought the premade MAIN packages. If i have to get those jets locally, that's not a big deal. I wasn't able to get to CPW's website (I think because of my IE8 upgrade) so i didn't even look at theirs. I think they were a bit higher on eBay though, even after the $30 shipping. If these are anywhere close to the PWKs that i drove on Saturday (on Dallas G Dub's shee), I think I'll be more than happy.
  13. From what i've found, just using a regular cable with tors removed will work. I recently replaced mine with a new one from FAST. I just ordered my 28mm ones from the guy selling them via Taiwan on eBay. you DO get better prices going through him directly though. scooter_wolfpack@hotmail.com is his email address. you can also hit him up on MSN. Now I'd probably recommend waiting til I get mine to order, but I paid $60 each for the carbs, and only $6 for a pack of 10 jets. (Just remember to get 2 packs...i forgot on my initial order). Pilots through him are $4 a piece. I paid $30 for express shipping, which means that even from Taiwan, I'll get it by either Friday or Monday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and will let everyone know.
  14. I'll probably get the 28s. I actually meant would I need a new cable if I already had one from FAST made with TORS removed. From what I've read up on, that one will work. I was suggested somewhere around the same range as far as jetting goes. I am about 500 ft above sea level, have a FAST cool head, +4 timing, FMF Fattys with Powercore 2s, and some kind portwork that the guy who sold it to me didn't know. It's definitely not stock though. Sorry, I know this is the PRoduct Reviews section. I appreciate everyone's input though!
  15. :yelrotflmao: LMFAO! I don't know either of you guys but that shit was CLASSIC!
  16. So i know the keihin jets will fit the OKOs, but if you're going from stock carbs to OKOs or Keihins, do you need a different cable? or will stock work?
  17. So i found them on eBay. Carb Parts Warehouse @ eBay But no OKOs. Now the guys from Taiwan got back to me last night. Actually, the guy who responded was from Canada. He said that he would give me 2 28mm carbs for $150 shipped. He also said he didn't think i needed a new throttle cable. Worse comes to worse, I get those and get a new cable for Keihins here locally, right? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just tired of messing with my stock carbs. Also, CPW's site, as well as FAST's are fucked up at the moment. but i'll check back later and see if they can help me out.
  18. i was looking into buying some PWK 28mm, but if these are nearly the same thing, and there are no complaints from you guys, i'd definitely get some. texasbanshee, shoot an ebay link on here. i see some for individual carbs, but none as a kit? This is what i've found: OKO 28mm Carb @ eBay Unfortunately, they also ship from Taiwan. so who knows how long they'd take to get here.
  19. This guy totally hooked it up. I bought a set of complete maier plastics from him for $100 shipped. He lost his ass shipping ($71.00 through fedex), but didn't bitch. Great guy, and great communication!
  20. ahh nvm. found that kit with drill and tap for $21. will go ahead and get that. thanks for the head's up.
