^^those r some wicked ass looking back tires. what kind of maxxis are those?
and white pipes dont look to bad just wont stay clean but f ur not worried bout it then give it a try
Ok i took it out riding the other day my mods r in my sig and it was rainy and around 35 degrees. ok so heres what would happen. id be in the sand practicing launching towards a 10 foot tall hill nothing to bad. so id get first real good and then hit sec and it would scream for about 3 secs then slow down and id have to almost pin it to keep the rpms up. i was thinking maybe its my gearing being to high cuz i think i got 15/41. or the weight of my tires or the wet sand or maybe my pipes???lol to many possibilities. i think my jetting is spot on and maybe alittle to rich in the pilot tho
kool wasnt really sure if i sould or shouldnt. maybe later in the sumer i can get the cool head. but would rather have a fresh top end right now and ready for the summer
ok my situation is this my psi is 110-115ish in each cylinder. i only have enough cash right now to ether get new rings and honed out new gaskets and needle bearings and get a shaved head(20 thousanths for $30). or get a cool head with domes. im wondering if i should just get the cool head and hope my rings last thru the summer ( 1-2 days a week 8-9 hours each day) or maybe get new rings and shaved head and start saving up for a cool head. any advice would be greatly appreacaited.
Thanks fellas
well im kinda between this right now. my psi in my cylinders are 110-115ish. runs good and starts first kick. but i only have enough money to ether get a cool head and domes or a shaved head(20 thousanths for $30) and new rings and honed out. now my question is should i just do my rings and get the shaved head and start saving up for a cool head or get a cool head and hope my rings will last thru the summer. i only ride 1 or 2 times a week when im not working and the max 8-9 hours each time i ride. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

im prob running to much might hav to back the pressure off. that and my tires are kinda heavy. thats why im gearing down to a 13/41 or maybe even a 13/44
i wasnt at a drag strip or anything but the other day i went riding and was in the sand going up hills etc and it was rainy out and tried launching in 2nd and it would get it for a couple secs then bogg. i was thinking the sand being wet and heavier and my gearing is setup wrong. stock gearing with 22 inch kenda tires
i got the toomey t6s and was wanting a pipe to give me a bit better lower end. these pipes really dont waken up til the rpms are up there. let me know what you think if maybe t5s r better or if fattys r better
Thanks
