  1. No problem man, it was a pleasure.
  2. pm'd you back I also have a set of SBSF One out each side Chrome Drag Pipes with Silencers if anyone is interested!
  3. You have pm
  4. Let me explain better because there is no way around it. For example you take a stock motor that has 130psi. Let's say you can run 85 octane in it WITHOUT any pinging or detonation. The you turn around and put 114 octane in it. You will make more power with the 85 simply because it is more volatile. Now lets say you have 195psi. If you put 85 octane in it, you would melt the motor down within a few minutes or less because it burns so easily. So obviously you need to run higher octane fuel because it is harder to light and will not detonate so easily. So my point is the lower octane fuel you can run WITHOUT detonation the more power you will make. So in some cases you have to run higher octane to avoid that. But running higher octane fuel than what is needed for your engine is wasting energy. It is a fine line to be able to get the most power out of your engine. It is very similar to tuning. The closer you can get to stoich, the more power you will make BUT the motor will literally melt if you get to lean. So you have to run it richer than that. But if your run it to rich, your losing power. You just have to find that fine line for optimal power and longevity.
  5. The higher octane gas you run, you will actually lose power. The reason people use higher octane fuels is to avoid detonation and safety.
  6. If I were you the first thing I would do is retorque the head and see if it is still leaking. If that doesn't work then I would pull the head.
  7. If your head is not torqued properly or is warped you will lose compression into your water jacket. Which in turn will push water our your overflow.
  8. LOL... I heat cycled mine 3 times, just to make sure there weren't any leaks and everything was torqued correctly. Then I did what you see me doing in my sig. I believe in breaking in every one of my motors in as hard as I possibly can. I have never had one fail out of about 15 engines. Besides one that was on NOS and that doesn't count... lol.
  9. On the tube that goes between your carbs and into your clutch cover there are 2 O-rings and a clip. On mine I had the clip get bent when I put it on and I got a shitload of water in my tranny. I just bought a new clip and O-rings. Problem solved.
  10. No that wouldn't. But you didn't reuse your stock headgasket did you? Only use the O-rings that come with the head. And I know on all the aftermarket heads I have used I have had to do 2-3 heat cycles to get the head to quit leaking.
  11. Inframe? OOF? But I would say CPI either way :ninja:
  12. Did you take it off in the proper sequence, and retorque it in the correct order? If you don't do it correctly you could warp the head. And like AKheathen said you have to heat cycle it and retorque everything again.
  13. All pm's replied. If you send me a pm please bump this thread so I know you sent me one.
  14. Is it a new motor? Aftermarket head?
  15. I don't know if they have any "mass" discount codes right now since it is busy season. But I do have a 10% off code if you want that.
  16. you have pm
  17. OMG LMAO!!! I almost fell out of my chair when I read that... lol
  18. Choke and devils dune are ok but sand mountain UT is better IMHO. But if you plan on heading down to st ann's again maybe I'll meet up with you. I'm there at least once a month anyway lol.
  19. I have a set of CPI's that would work perfect for what your looking to do with it. You might wanna add getting some bigger carbs to that list too... lol
  20. Sorry, I got to many pipes as it is... lol
  21. I still have more of these for sale!!! :ninja:
  22. We will be going to one or the other here soon, I know everyone is planning on going to Little Sahara on the weekend of July 24th since its a holiday here, but I'm sure we will go out at least once before then. Thanks for the compliment. The scary part is I still got to finish breaking it in and get it tuned all the way... lol. And the low end on your bike is amazing, I never thought a banshee could have that kind of torque. But yeah man I don't know why you even have front tires on your banshee, everytime I looked over your front tires were in the air!... lol
  23. Just trying to help him and me out  lol
