  1. might not be the trouble your haveing but when runing out of gas they will bog while riding and if you stop then idel up high just b4 they die. but as far as pined and not shuting off that might be from what was said above.
  2. dont bother cleaning the caps you can get them cheep at most bike dealers just take one with you and tell the parts guy u need 2. dont just go in and ask for banshee ones he might tell you that he dont have them, but most bikes are the same

  4. the shift shaft always sits against the case thats what holds it in place
  5. i would just use rtv but if u think u need a gasket cut one out of a cereal box then add rtv to each side or u can go to auto zone and get a sheet of gasket material and cut it out. but IMO that gasket is so thin i dont see how that could effect anything.

  7. sorry it was late didnt catch the uni in your post but you might want to think about cutting off the tabs that hold the stock airbox the will wear holes in your pods.
  8. talked to him in shout and asked him to take of his cap off and start the bike and hold his hand over it and if it builds presure up fast then its a leaking head gasket. he said yep builds alot of presure fast but i have o rings. so i told him he has a leaking oring. one that goes arond the dome.
  9. 2 inch is what fits the stock 26mm so i would say 2" and my 33 pwk's take 2 1/4 as far as lenth that depends on if your going uni or k&N

  12. nothing wrong with jb weld hell i use bubble gum. duct dape what ever it takes to finsh out the weekend, go out to ride not sit around and talk about how fast my bike is
  13. well IMO the v2 is junk they use screews in them and how well will screews hold in plastic, not well cost me a topend fell apart and pow i run the chariots with the 2 stage boysen and i love them i did call them and the guy said he would repair them free and i said if they fall apart agen you going to replace what they break and he said "nope" and i said "then you can take them and shove them up your ass"
  14. up date: my sons burn is almost completly heald never got a scab kept that stuff they gave me on it and i have never seen a burn heal that good. got one of the blasters done put a 3 mill crank in it its now 251cc . wow never thought just a 3 mill would make that much of a diff. 3 more to go have not sold my car yet so the 421 on mine is going to wate. just wate n for parts.
  15. well lets not forget that the there is more 7.3's in use then all the others combined and if you take notice most of your bigger companys use fords must be a reason, well i know the reason i worked for one, the guys that drive them dont own them they just beat them all day every day. and they did try the dodges and gmc/chev because of the pos 6.0 and the dodges and gmc would not hold up losts of stupid shit gets broke. so when they did need a truck they would find a low milage 7.3. dont know what they are doing now dont work there anymore. but as far as the gmc/chev i just cant see buying a american truck with a jap motor, my buddy and i talk shit to each other (he started it) and he will start it up when we are in a group like hanging out at the dunes and when i herd enough i just say yea the max is fast but just could not bring my self to buy a jap powerd truck then he dont say no more. but dont know if he has had any trouble with his max dont think he would say anything if he did. as far as mine goes i pull a 15k toy hauler with it truck is only rated for 13k and im coming up on 250k did replace the trans at 212k and a front hub but the hub was out when i bought it and glow plugs at 230k alternator, and a idel pully and thats it. what i know about all the newer ones dont think i will be getting one, dodge is still useing the 6.7 with its masive egr system and they are having trouble with the dpf pluging up (large egr sysytem on disel motors is not good) so now ford and gmc/chev is going to the def system. its not the big 3's fault is the tree huggers fault. if i do give in and go the def route then ford becaue at least i know there was no harm to tax payers in the making of it.
  16. well i m allmost 40 now my dad is 80 and my grandfarther is longone now, my point is that this kid believing as he does was the way it was, freedom is a young idea tyranny (oppressive power <every form of tyranny over the mind of man — Thomas Jefferson>; especially : oppressive power exerted by government)is a old idea. my grand farther warned us kids of what we now have. and he complaind about how it was before he died, wow would he be pissed now. my grandfarther would say "remember that we are governd by consent" now if this kid does not want to give his concent to being governd that is his right but are tyrant coverment would bully you into thinking otherwise. police men cam from peace men they were orignaly out there to just keep the peace now most are know as law inforcement. if you have a bag of M&M's and i take one no big deal right but then i take one more and then one more so on and so on wow you now have none left. so will it be with are freedom. in fact with bush and now obama the are taking hand fulls at a time. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!
  17. well its not that we want the ugley orange ones its that we must have them. the wife has duel flags on her bike(because one must be red or orange) and when your going fast it seems to realy bend the pole and i can see fractures from were its bending to much. so putting 2 flags on the pole is not somthing i want to do. so i guess im stuck with the ugley ones. o well just add some chrome to make up for it.

  19. well i missed this topic but for my 2 cents. i think you should just make them cheep and simple they dont last and get broke off and you dont notice tell, forget it not going back now. i used a plane orange one to test on befor i do it on the bigger 3'x 5' one i got coming, and i think somthing like that would be better and cheeper i think that more would buy if they were cheeper. but that is just my 2 cents and 2 cents aint worth shit lol

  21. sound more like a pluged piot jet or pilot circut stock banshee with just pipes dont need bigger pilots but they do need the proper needle we are runing a ported 4mill on stock piolts but it also has the toomey needles

  25. his burn his healing up nice. i did got one fixed the power wheels raptor had a bad foot switch. ben doing this for years and never realy had trouble, yea i have had a bike break down, a flat, but never went home with 4 out of 5 bikes broke. so i didnt let it get to me or ruin the good time i had hanging out. but when i told the wife yea my bike needs a topend she was WTF this is getting to expensive. so i told her i would sell the mustang to fix them all but i m going to go to a 421 on mine and help my son do his topend on his because its about due.
