  1. I am having the same problem top of 5th and 6th gear it just doesnt pull anymore. let off the throttle for a sec. it will pull again but then it will stop kinda surges. Let me know if it helps and what bit you used.
  2. ditch the yamalube, run the good stuff at 50:1 to start. use your b8es or br8es plugs. bogging in the lower end is your pilot air srew and jet, and then the needle jet mid throttle, according to the Clymer manual not your mains. they are on the top end wich sounds to be were you are running good.
  3. other way around, 50:1 is leaner than 32:1 I belive a too rich and a too lean condition will BOTH cause it to run hotter. However too rich will foul plugs, and too lean will blow it up. It is always better to be a little rich.
  4. elevation is 1233ft. I have t-4s, open air box, pro flow, 30mm d-slide carbs. i think thats is all I have that would effect the jetting? the temp is around 70-80 F right now but in PA give it ten minuets and the weather will change. the current jetting is what was sent to me by carb-parts-warehouse. i would say it is probably155, 53 because he gave me 50's, 55's and 152's, 158's. on another note I run Amsoil Dominator but I dont mix it 50:1 like the bottle says it is a little leaner(because I was fouling plugs) more like 55:1 and it still gets my plugs wet/dark. Hope that helps. it runs good but i have noticed when out on the back roads were I can get it going at the top of 5th and 6th gear it has almost no powerband, and I can feel it kinda kickin in and out. I have read a bunch of posts and had a lot of advice from some old heads but not real sure what to do. I was going to run a br7es plug or maybe some of those iridium plugs in the 8 range to see if it cleans the plugs up but I dont want to risk detonation.

  6. well i have a stone finish on mine(paint not pc) so when the paint started to strip off them I used some brush-on bed liner to redo them.
  7. well I keep blowing my stingers off my t-4s. i need to get good hangers for them what do you reommend. also have had a problem with melting my air box. I am hope the hangers will help that. And finally I am missing at WOT that is probably a main I need to change right? up or down a size?
  8. They have a good one on ebay. it is designed like the TM one but fills in the case better. i picked one up for $25 about a year ago. I think they are a little more now.
  9. I think I saw that pic a few weeks ago. I think it was just expanded sheet metal.
  10. That looks really good on white. Best ive seen. verde skull pile looks good an black imo
  11. I liked the all black with silver flames. It thought it was 06 LE but not sure. That is what made me get one. But now mine sports red and white
  12. my reaction..What the F*ck???!!!!! I lost all tension on the clutch cable. Thought it snapped but it didnt. I could still power shift through gears. I also ground down the clutch release lever. It cost me about $100 to fix with the pancake bearing. The clutch release lever cost 30 on its own
  13. Its a money pit! But it's so fuckin awesome! no doubt. built mine from the frame up(hence my screenname). still cheaper than a new one and alot faster.
  14. so I had the quad down for a week of basic maitnence and the first ride back out I welded the damn ball. Well it sparked this question... How long have any of you gone without fixing or replacing something on your banshee? me about two weeks
  15. well I have a set of t-4s on my a-arm banshee and was wondering if that is the reason they touh the air box. If I dont mount them up top they are fine but then they arnt mounted corretly. I have a section of rad. hose protecting my new air box for now. Anyone else have this problem?
  16. I use a Outerwear over instead. cost me about 30 buks shipped and I dont see how the K&N could posibly flow more air. It is also water resistent
  17. ok so my clutch is constintly engaged there is no tension in the cable but it is not broke. I think something must have came apart off the pressure plate. Anyone have an idea? Want to get parts before I tear it down or hopefully it is a quick fix.
  18. in the slide there is an inset you need to slide the iner part up to expose it. then slide your spring up your cable, slide the cable end into the inset, release your spring and then slide the iner part of the slide back down to cover it all up. then you just put your tops back on.
  19. thanks got it. had to adjust it everywhere. on top the carbs, after the bend, and at the housing. seems to be ok but I hope nothing breaks seeing as though it is all about adjusted out all the way. My motion pro snaped right off the carb. For 60 bucks this thing better last.
  20. Hey I have 30 mm D-slide carbs on a stock thumb throttle. I think I got the wrong one. It opens the slides all the way but there is about 1/2 inch of play in the throttle. Anyone have a part number that runs this setup?
