  1. You should still be able to give them a call and let them know your situation, I hope your running like 112 octane fuel if your at 170psi

    The Ultimate Fighter

Yeah I do a little bit, I am actually considering trying to get into the UFC. I've trained in boxin, werestling, a little tae kwon do, and am doing brazilion jui jitsu/ MMA right now, but yeah I agree with what you've said. Junie is a prick I think the team leader should have layed him out when he was getting in his face and what not around the pool.
  3. Yeah Wade no gasket just some sealant. Did you make sure you cleaned the surfaces before you applied it? Try some blue RTV silicone gasket maker, it's made by Permatex you can find it at any auto parts store and it works so great that I've used it as a quick fix to seal a blown gasket on the bottom of a cylinder
  4. Yeah depending on elevation you should be ok I had 114 and 116 and was fine, but im like 200 feet above sea level. As far as the exhaust heat though, check to make sure dont have anyair leaks, such as in the intake boots or in the gaskets and seals around the carb and reeds. You could be running lean on one side due to an air leak which sooner or later could cause you internal problems

    Going Broke?

It's amazing how people make money off dumb ass stuff... The even sadder part is someone is dumb enough to buy it
  6. Hey bro just thought I'd let you know try to get a hold of "GRIM RIPPER" he designed Kevin Herr's new T-shirt design and has done some nice sigs, he should be able to do one for you

    UPS Sux.

I agree UPS is outragous. I pretty much only USPS. You know what sucks too, is any kind of ordering online is done through UPS which is why a clutch puller costs like $20.00 for 3 day air when you order online, it's bull!
  8. I have to agree with NYUK. If your against buying an adjustable plate then just slot your stock plate holes. Its way easier than trying to move the pick up, and it saves you from possibly ruining the plate
  9. X2 he is very helpful and does great work. thanks brandon
  10. yeah a 1000 has alot of power, the yamaha 1000 sled motors run 120-150hp stock depending on model, but if its a 2-stroke your lookin at around 140 minimum so yeah stock for stock I think it will take a shee
  11. Looks clean bro. What is that like a gun metal gray on there? It looks just a little darker than stock!
  12. Many people use there shee's as trail machines. Im an example of this. If you can find a great deal on one in your area for maybe like 1500. Take another 1000-1500 and put it into the motor with porting and what not, then take whats left and put it into your suspension and you kill all those 4-pokes
  13. Actually im having problems with my e-mail right now so here. stock head, One side has some groves in it from a piece of piston ring bouncing around, but its not real bad, it came off my running bike like 2 weeks ago so I can put a pro-design on, just need to be cleaned up. If you want it you can have it if you pay for shipping. Just PM me and will work out shipping if you want
  14. I have a stock head. One side has some groves in it from a piece of piston ring bouncing around, but its not real bad email me [email protected] and ill send you pics if you want you can have it if you pay for shipping
  15. Check these out guys, Hi-perf guages The price is a little high compared to the crp's but I figured I'd just throw another option out there. I havnt tried them personally, but maybe someone else has. Whats the normally operating temp. on a shee anyways? what temp. does it start over heating at
  16. haha yeah, already got rid of them. And I've gotten rid of a couple other things that should lighten it up
  17. Im tearing apart the motor and the crank bolt on the clutch side that holds the gear on and the clutch basket bolt seem to be a little more stubborn than I thought so what is the best way to get this off with out hurting anything, the engine is mostly apart it is only the bottom end, but I have removed as much of that as i can also.
  18. Does anyone no the dry weight on a stock 2000 banshee, or if it hasnt changed at all over the years then the stock weight on a banshee in general
  19. LiftdT4R has a point, however I think they are a better shock in general and even though theyre not made for a shee, the stock shocks of a shee sucks. Alot of people dont mind or think theyre ok, but after riding all kinds of 2strokes(quads,dirtbikes,snowmachines) I think theyre at the low end. So if you can get them for free go for it, if you dont like them than switch back.
  20. These guys make a great point if your on a budget. The T-6's will work for now but once you get the other stuff done and your lookin to squezze a little more power then go to T-5's, but for now stick with the 6's. Now everyone is going to have their own opinion on this, but in mine I think you should go with the crank true and weld and timing since your flywheel is off. Then porting/pistons. Then the cool head. then whatever you want to do with reeds wether its port them or going with VF3's. Then if you want to squeeze a little extra go with the T-5's. THey are a better pipe but not necesary so for now I'd say stay
  21. Yeah I did. I just wiped out the oven after it, even though there was no residue or anything i did just to be safe. It give off a little smoke for like the first 30 minutes, but other than that I didnt notice anything so I dont really see any problem. like i said i didnt notice anyresidue but if there is I'm sure I got rid of it by wiping it out. If your worried about it use some like clorox clean-up or something, that should work.
  22. yeah get the timing plate if you can. If you send it to HJR than Kevin knows what he is doing so if you dont have the $$$ right away you can just tell him you want them ported for the pro-lites and he can do it. And yeah the dune port is starting to get more towards having light switch power with your shee which isnt very godd for trails. The v-force are a good choice, me personally I wanted to save $200 and port my stock reed cages myself and get some carbon fiber reeds, but thats because I've researched it and it's really not hard if you take your time
  23. Good that your getting a true and weld. ok well as far as all aroung I'd set-up your bike for mostly trail with some dunning, so go with and aggressive trail port, and the head either NOSS or a Pro-design. About the timing plate though if you are doing the rest of those mods it will compliment them perfectly, get an adjustable timing plate and go +4 on the timing. Definantly get some T-5's first though and with the boring, going that high would put it at you having to bore it how much like .080, everyone that I have talked to on here says dont bore unless you have to because it really doesnt help. Oh and one more thing, if your doing some porting and that other stuff you mise well make sure your pistons can take the abuse to, get some wiseco pro-lites, but do this before the porting that way you can give them to whoever is doing your work and he can port the cylinders to match the pistons, just another way to squeeze a little extra out of the motor and make things run a little smoother.
  24. Yeah haha I havnt tried it on a frame but Its worth a try, it took like i think it was $12 on the paint to do my pipes silencers like in the pics, that was with 3 cans and I think it took like 1 1/2 or 2 cans to do them. I am going to use the rest on my cylinders like i said once I get them back and I want to do a little research and developement and try them on other metal perts, its almost like powder coating though the parts have to be able to with stand the heat
  25. Well your mods are going to depend on your type of riding like do you mostly ride trails or dunes or what? If you look at the mods in my signature my bike is apart right now and I am doing all of that, Im setting mine up for trail riding mostly, but thats what im doing to the motor right now just to give you an idea, but for your situation... im guessing (tell me if im wrong cuz this is where i was before), you want a really nice bike and are tryin to figure out whats the best for you, but you dont have a job and your $$$ is limited? cuz in that case your best starting point is pipes its the best bang for your buck, then timing, but see timing or stator plate work best with other mods so I'd hold off. And idk how radical you want to go with your bike so your next step is going to depend on that. Dont get me wrong though, im not rich lol those mods are coming from a summer job that i got and I live in Alaska so we just got our perminant fund dividens and that put an extra $1000 in my pocket, but thats not imprtant haha. Your mods are basically gonna depend on what kind of riding you do and how radical you want to go
