just google silver lake sand dunes and you get a ton of links to places to rent. yeah theres no places to rent "on the dunes" but pretty close to the entrance. you really dont have to have paddle tires. you will be able to go any where you want with out them. not sayin they dont help, but its not worth the $$ to buy them just 1 time. I dont know of any place htat rents them. no help on the stator. craigslist?? as long as its not heavy raining the dunes are allways fun!! but yeah alot more fun when its 85 and sunny with a light breeze of Lake Michigan!! make sure you have spark arestors and flags/ whips. follow the direction (clockwise) lots of pics and answers here too.http://www.silverlakeforum.com/index.php have fun!!

same shit all the 450 guys say. "Mah 450 will beat you!!!" Theres a guy that has a STOCK KFX 450 that comes up to the shop with the monster energy graphics and a air filter that was talkin' MAD shit bout how his 450 would walk me and he wanted to put up $$50.00 cuz i was egging him on. I cant blame him for thinking that way. I am a BIGG 6'5 350lbs guy. So people dont give me much credit. that and my engine looks like a total sleeper. So we raced... WAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH out of the hole I hd the jump on him for every run (3 of them) then I was bout 1 1/2 - 2 lengths from him at the finish. never even grabbed 5th. all he could say was, that shit aint stock!! I just said. AND???? I know all of us Banshee owners have similar storys bout fools that dont have a clue what the Banshees are about, and get there asses handed to them. then again I have been on the receiving end by a couple of 450's too.
