  1. Hey im interested in the complete motor with the carbs, how much would you want without the pipes , boost bottle does it come with reeds also?

  4. ya arigtht thats what i was thinking for now 4mil with stock cylinders ported, and im getting a coolhead with like 20cc domes to, but not sure if i should upgrade my clutch yet or not. and while its apart would it be worthhile to do anything to the shiftstar and all thaT??
  5. well despite all my posts im gonna send my engine to kevin Herr and get him to do a 4mm ported stock cylinders with a cool head, so i cant decivde if i should stick with stock ported cyl or get a stock cub, any suggestions? i only have about 1600-1800 to play with, i mainly ride like open trails or fields usually just open areas and im using toomey t5s with stock carbs for now

Hey well long story short ive decided to go a new route with my engine so im selling my Cylinders head and pistons Kevin Herr did all the work at HJR EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW NEVER USED he milled and chambered the head to 21cc bored it to 64.25 wiseco forged pistons and he finished it up with a Agressive Dune port or i will take a trade on some stock cylinders and possibley a 4mil crank id like to get around 750$ you can email me at [email protected] Here are pictures of everything on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=320271963142

  9. ya its not the pistons or cylinders because they werent on the bike, so should i just take the side cover off and look because to be perfectly honest i dont trust my self to split the cases and put it back together Metal in the oil could be from the clutch basket, kickstarter gear or idler gear clip...but not from damaged rods or pistons.
  10. yaaa im stupid but saying that doesnt help me fix my bike..... no the pistons werent even on the rods. thats why i could figure out why it wosnt turning over
  11. k the cylinder closest to the kick starter would turnover fine but only like halfway and then it would stop so long story short i kicked it over and it spins fine now but theres a SHIT load of metal chunks in the oil so what happened.... any ideas?

  13. ya no i ahve the one side in and its fine theyre lined up and everything but i ahvent put the other side in and i just looked at the piston and the pins just dont look like they come out very far.... and the reason i ahve put it in yet is because i did and then i "and dont twist the jugs while you are pulling them off and installing them" and bent one of the rings so did i maybe knock off the stopping pins??
  14. k im just in the process of being my jugs back on after HJR ported and bored them with the wiseco pistons and i ahve done a few little stupid things so plz try and answer if i need to fizz them or it willl be aright! - banged the skirt edge of the piston on the head suurface of the engine left a little ding in the head surface and a like a little bubble in the skirt!! (will this just wea off because the pistons aluminum? its right at the bottom) -when i was puttig the jugs on oil got on the gasket is that ok or no? - on the 1 wiseco pistons it looks like the piston wring stoppers on the piston have like fell out becasue theres only a little nubby that sits back there, which only stops it a little bit is that normal! i cant look at the other one beause its already on the bike?? and a bit of coolant dripped on the crank and in the case so what syhould i do just keep doing oil changes for a bit? it wasnt alot cant think of ne more at the minute but sure i will later lol, thanks alot in advance

  19. k so i was jus ptutting the nuts ont he 1 cylinder and one nut i THINK fell into the left side of the case..... so how fucked m i and what do i do like OMG im so chocked
  20. hey i hope im just being paranoid but i just assembling my engine back together and when i was putting My piston rings on i was sliding them over the edge of the piiston (ya i know dont ahve the right tool) and i put a few light scratches on the top/side this wont affect anythinf will it?

  23. k so i just got my front end completed with yfz a arms and kfx shocks and i just put the following on my banshee and im just waiting on the jugs from kevinn herr so the banshees gonna be a whole new bike, but my girlfriends dad has a 2001 ds650 all stock so i wanna what there gonna be like head to head in the dunes my banshee has the following: -+4 timing -K&N airfilter -340 main jets and 32.5 pilots -aggresive dune port \by her jugs racing - Bored .20 over - wiseco forged pistons -milled head to 21cc -stock reeds so i just wanna no lke for jumping hillshooting and everything im like 20 pounds lighter then him to
