  1. very awesome bigred!!! i just put my bottom end together and noticed the guide on dune review is gone very nice walk through. makes me feel beter as i now know i didnt miss any steps
  2. we ended up going to st anthony. it was a pretty bad weekend at sand mountain though, my buddy jason muchmore's wife got life flighted out apparrently. yes as in the K&T muchmores. she seems to be doing well though and i think she is going to make a speedy recovery.
  3. i was there saturday through monday. we were staying at sand hills as well. i dunno if you saw me or not roku? i was on the 97 shee with the custom flame paint. i was in my lifted grey duramax and my buddy had his lifted white duramax with his big enclosed trailer.
  4. weather is looking like its not going to cooperate....
  5. we will be there over memorial as well. staying in sand hills resort.
  6. sorry man i wasnt trying to be a dick, just kinda a figure of speach? i assumed you were a jerk to them on the phone when they told you about the anti seize. I agree that this is about product reviews, and you obviously had bad customer service. All im saying is you wouldnt have even needed to cal them had you used the anti seize? Maybe you got a grouchy person that had just dealt with 10 other people who misplaced the HUGE labels that say to use anti seize on everything. It happens man. all i know is i couldnt be happier with my experience, and im sorry that yours was not as favorable as mine.
  7. im sorry alf but it sounds like you were an asshole about this whole deal. it says in BOLD LETTERS on EVERYTHING to use anti seize. I dont blame them for not replacing your bolts after you came on here and bashed them as well. i purchased 2 kits about a month ago. i used anti seize on every bolt and i have had ZERO problems. Their customer service was AWESOME when i asked when things would be shipped out and such. they were very nice to me and i would purchase again from them no question about it. 1 thing i didnt like though... the bolt for the handlebar clamp is incorrect.. the stock one is the bolt with basically a nut on the end of it for the radiator mount to screw into... the alloybolts kit is just a regular hex bolt so you cannot put in the top mount on the radiator The stock fastener is definitely a one off kinda bolt so i understand why they dont provide it.
  8. i will also be buying 4 sets of front and rear sprockets here very soon for my and my girlfriends bikes... thats 8 sprockets total... and i can guarantee you after reading this thread i will definitely be looking elsewhere than sprocket specialties. what a crock... i hate shady customer service. customers are the only reason you have a business to start with. some people are not very smart.
  9. ALSO.... he is 100% correct. Tires grow, quite a bit, as speed increases. ask me how i know..... (the slicks on my Z06 grew about 2-3 inches when strapped down on the dyno and made a pull, it wore down my inner fender wells so now i have to clean the damn things out every time i drive it) granted.... these were 28" slicks and aired down which allows them to grow quite a bit. but he is correct. tires for sure 100% grow pretty dramatically at speeds.
  10. JESUS.... i dont know this dude but i can tell you that most of you are being complete jackasses. he never said the bike was stock, all he said was stock carbs and he didnt list the mods. If its .040 over already its pretty obvious the bike has other mods as well. he ALSO never said he had stock gearing. his very first post also said 15 42's. yeah he needs to work on his debating skills but some of you jackasses are putting words in his mouth and then calling him a dick head for these magical words he never spoke. and yes, i read through all the posts. he never claimed 120, he never claimed anything in the quarter mile, he said he was on a long ass road in the middle of nowhere. and also, for the jackasses saying it defies physics but then also saying that a GPS isnt accurate????? LMFAO... really guys??? really??? GPS is 100% positively accurate so long as the road is 100% flat with no elevation change. Once there is an elevation change it is no longer accurate because you are no longer moving on the X axis but also on the Z axis as well. BUT technically you could still figure out exactly how fast you went based on how far your traveled and if you could also pull the elevation change out of the GPS as well. (good ole pathagorian formula) anyhew....... if your going to flame him at least flame him for what he actually said.
  11. i had a blast as well! let my buddy run my bike up (hes skinny as hell haha) and he got it to hold 5th gear up the face!! man it screamed in 5th gear. im running 13 45 gearing and 9 paddle haulers. stock displacement port job, 34 mikuni's, and all bolt ons.

  17. just bought a 4 mil crank and lockup from him. GREAT guy to deal with, had it shipped out same day and i recieved items 2 days later. USPS jacked up the box but his packaging and forethought saved me ALOT of grief i would have had getting reimbursed by USPS for damages had he not packed it up so well. Great seller!
  18. god i may end up snagging those carbs off you if you still have them for a while. tapped out on money for now but supposed to have some parts selling soon.
