  1. Hello guys wondering if any of you had an old stroker crank laying around, or bottom end. dont really care what condition there in. ill replace gearing or fix cases and change rods ect if needed. just looking for the parts cheap. thanks

  3. This is a general reply to this thread. Th1nks for all your imput guys. This is just something ive been toying around with. Im really lookin to set my she up right from the start. Its an old girl and its been a while. I just want it to be set up for go from the start. I am slowly getting all the parts together for it. This is one of them mods i just dont want to over look for a rebuild in its future. I think most of the mods ive got for it now are listed. I still am looking at possable exstention of the rear by 2". I would also like to get a better port job on it. But if it goes there, Ill end up doing the hole 9 yards, from seals to crank and head which im looking at the phathead set up. Im still running stock radeator.Sorry piss poor speller here. But any why it looks i repeat looks like it would cool better if i added it and may be some in line coolers all though i think they may be just some gimick. I Dont know too much about them. Last but not least the advance for the timing ive been seeing i need to add that for any higher compression. which im hoping to use like 21 maybe 20 cc domes for that head. I really do not want to have to run race fuel. Theres not many places that sell it around me inless i use 108 airplane fuel. I ride long trails and useally fill up at the fuel stations any way. Well guys didnt mean to write a book if you all have any sugestions to send my way im very open thanks
  4. hello guys, I have been looking for info on different stroker cranks. This probly a dumb question for most of you. But I see for the most part there are only a few differnt sizes sold on the market. Any one know why there useally a 4 mill strokes in stead of 3 or 5 mill stroker. Does any one here know what the power out put difference would be if some one would say have a 5 mill strokerbuilt, or is it even possable.
  5. no problem, my plan is to test it in three different areas. ive got a hill im sure ive got to down shift on normally ill use it as a test area. then a 2 mile straight to test top end and just playing around on it ill ensur e i have the shop set up the carbs on it first for best test results. ive got three mods im planning on testing the carb set up, the new vforce reeds, and new pipes im going to try to test them independently for beter true results. no dino just go by feel here
  6. Hey guys. Just wanting to know if you would like me to post a comparison. Im deployd to iraq now so when i get the time i spend a little here and there on the shee. I orderd the trinity 2 into 1 system and have not installed it yet. Ive not even had time to run this machien yet. Bought it while i was here. It still fairly stock only had a top end job done to it and bored 40 over. Still stock carb and exaust mild woods port. My paln if you all would care to know, what the reall bolt on differences are. Ill do the carb setup first after i run it as is. Then send you all a report. Then ill do the fatty exaust. would this infomation benifit the group?
  7. what is up with a dealer/ manufactur being out of stock for more than three weeks. any one else had issues with fmf. wouldnt be so pissed but this is starting to get annoing. just looking for feed back see what you all have had. im waiting on my power core 2 titanims what in the world could be taking so long are we in a shortage of metal or what.
  8. Ok banshee freaks. Just lookin around tod ran across a rz 500, this is a 4 cyl engine two stroke. will it bolt in to a banshee frame i wonder. Ha any body ever seen this in a banshee? does it share the same cranks, and what about gearing would banshee gearing run it this. I ve got no idea guys but if so. This would be an awsom drag motor. ported and stroke 700+ cc two stroke. Any one have any thing on this? Sorry about the random things i post on here, im deployed and cant wait to get back to do some riding take it easy guys
  9. THanks for all the replys. I was just alittle bored so i figured why not. i think i may do a little with an old motor ive got see what i can figure out. ive got about 4 old 400 snow mobile motors layin around and a i was going to drag one any way. think i might fool around with some different ideas ive got. Do up some math. see what i can come up with. ill let you all know if i come up with any thing cool or just a blown motor. has any one got any info on max rpm sort of info. i.e metal specs. breaking points of different compents. ill run my moto progam on this see where i can take it to its should be as simple as millin the heads down and squizin it as much as i can. then ill deal with the port timing. sorry fellows that i dont spell worth a damb but when it comes to motors i can do that sorta work . this should be a fun project to exsplore. never know what migh come out of it
  10. thanks I was thinking this fuel would be very tough on things. its a exstremly high compression fuel that would run better on glo plugs then staight spark. I have seen motors run on no spark at all just plan compression. so much so its quit next to impossable to turn the darn thing over. and counter weight is another issue with a motoer with this much compression. this would be much easier with a single cylender engine i thing. I do have a funny story about this fuel though. I have ran it in a snowblower once staight. ran out of gas one time and had some 15% around and need to get to work. needless ly to say after some fooing with the carb it ran like a champ. I couldnt believe it dint mess any thing up on it. Best smelling snowblower on the block that day is for sure.lol
  11. dont think ill ever do it but it seems posable maybe. Has any on ever run nitro methonal through there quads. Yea im just stupid but alittle bored so i figured i would ask seems you could raise the compression up enough to glow plg it and run exstrem high compression drag bike.

Well guys im sorta seeing maybe this may be too big for the woods, and yes i guess draging isnt out of the quuestion, that will be on mostly fire trails and old rail roads. this is the deal guys i was planning on getting the new polaris out law 525s with the straight axal but. desided on this quad instead. ive always rode two strokes just love the kick. as well as like the lower center of gavity on these things. just wanting it to be competitive is my goal. dont want to smoke them but dont want left in the dust eather you know what i mean
  13. ok guys this is what im thinking of doing, Im looking in to getting a vito' 4 mill crank 58mmstroke with 110mm rod's. the VITO'S BANSHEE FACTORY BIG BLOCK CAST PISTON 68 MM BIG BORE CYLINDER KIT. with VITO'S HEMI HEAD II not sure for dome size yet lookin to run mainly pump gas through it. ive already got trinity 2 into 1 carb set up with fmf fatty pipes and power core 2 titanim. ill be runnin works shocks. probly should get a timing plate too. has any one run this set up and will it run with and maybe out run the 700r yamaha piped and chiped? Im useally pretty snappy up till third and use the power on the ground not up in the air what do you guys think. this will be run in the woods not the dunes, oh ill be runnig 14 to 41 gears not sure how well that setup will be but trial and area i guess. do you all think this will be a useable setup
  14. hey fellos been trying to reserch thouse cheetah motors. Im going to try not to make this a real wide subject but sure it will be any way. what is the largest set up you can run pump fuel in. and can that power be used in the woods with out throwing you into the trees?

  16. I would say most who actually posted on here missed the point . So be it. For thouse of you this information actually helped out. No problem. I know theres guy out there that ride them like they stole them and guys that ride them like they own them. Well guess ill leave this one alone for know. Keep on tuning them guys.
  17. sh..who ever said that i could write. I have only been doing some studing to to share with you all to better the sport. The two stroke is out of date, but they are still to be respected. lets keep the shee alive along with all the other stroker rides out there.
  18. it wont be to long people wont rember this stuff do the resherch for your self if you must but if you look more in to the point of this thread youll see its only for your information. its in the math you might want to look into it for your self computer softwheres grate but if you dont know jack about the the numbers to feed it then this is what the sight is for you want to know what your paying for. where do you want your power to come on this is the same stuff the "PROS" use 2 stroke 101 its not an oppinion or a well ill get you the power by cuttting here and here its simply a sight for information on all aspects of the two stroke motor but i think you know that

Hi guys not sure how much this subject comes up, but im wanting to do a port and polish my self on my shee got nothing but time to put in to it and have done a few clean ups in my time, but am looking in to more details for port timing, angles and actual hard data on an egressive trail setup for lowend power dose any one have some insight on any of this and point me in the right direction to learn more about this, i know there are alot of grate racing co out there that do this stuff for cheap. just something i would like to get into sending it to the shop is one thing doing it your self is some thing to learn for the future ive got the tools just looking for the knowhow any help would be appceated
