  1. so am i gonna have to get clutches and steels too?
  2. but im also 1000 ft above sea level its cause the port job i have and it always starts first kick and like the 3rd kick when warm. i took a ride on it last night and it didnt act up at all i have no clue why it was doing what it did but i rode it for prolly 15 min. late last night and it rode like it normally runs... i dont get it
  3. yes tors is removed and everything done to it is in my sig all the motor mods are things that i JUST did with the rebuild it only has about 3 tanks ran thru it and the 95 psi im told is cause im runnin the stocker head the port job and the altitude im at which is about 1000 ft above sea level
  4. it'll idle fine just when i go to give it some throttle it'll bog down it kicks over fine and i had a thread about my sompression not bein over 95 and its still like that but it'll always start first kick and when its warm about the third kick it always starts but now its spittin all the time like in any gear if i give it full throttle it'll just sputter and almost die and also for the info i just advanced my timing from +5 to +8 and switched to race fuel this weekend
  5. ok so after a good day of ridin the shee that was finally runnin right again i go to rip all the way to 6th gear and it starts spittin and sputterin and has absolutely no power and then i slowed down and i couldnt even rev it up it would just bog down and even died once. so i thought it mighta been plugs and so i changed them.... it didnt make a difference at all. what the hell is the matter now?

  8. so ehich would be better e one from fast or mmatv? the one from mmatv looks all nice and polished up does the one from fast come the same way or no?
  9. also i just looked at the lockout one mmatv does that come with everything i need to install it or do i have to buy more crap to go along with it
  10. isnt that what you get with the fast racing lockup cover and mod tho? what all do you get in that kit thats 375? and how much work is needed to install it
  11. ok after riding today im wantin more power and im goona buy the fast racing lockout clutch how much of a difference will that make sayin get up and go wise and also the modded shift star im gonna buy the noss head with prolly 18cc domes and advance my timing to +8 buy the high flow water impeller and runnin 110 race fuel. will i have to change my jetting? and also how much of a difference will i have with all the mods i already have listed in my sig
  12. ok my tranny works fine now i put more oil in it and everything is working fine again. i only start to experience problems when i ride on pavement alot. but i think with all this new power its startin to slip the clutch and i just wanna go big and get that lockout clutch from F.A.S.T. so my question is are they worth it i plan on pumpin more power to it but does their lockout clutch make it any faster or anything ect. like what exactly does it all do and the shift star do i have to tear the top half of the case apart? ill be doin the clutch and have the money so what all can i do without tearing the cases apart.
  13. yea the gear box worked fine just after some good hard riding it went to hell and 6th gear was pullin like a bat out of hell its like i hit nitrous goin into 6th it is amazing or was i should say. but i dont even know where to start so any help would be great.
  14. ok fellas i got the shee runnin right and it just flat out screams it has nice compression now and rebuilding the carb and new plugs and some 110 race fuel did the trick :biggrin: its wicked bad very impressed with kevins port work. but anyways i was riding last night and all the sudden shee wont shift anymore! i let it cool down and i can run thru 1st to 3rd gear but then 4th is a complete bitch to get into and so are 5th and 6th its like ill hit neutral and have to keep tryin to shift like ill feel no click at all.....what the hell happened did i bend or break somethin? the oil level was half full. did i smoke the clutch or what?
  15. well the left side wasnt workin right to begin with before i tore it all down
  16. could the left carb itself just went to hell? and not be able to be rebuilt?
  17. no i checked it cold and kevin from hjr set me up with all the gaskets
  18. i put it together i have put plenty of engines together and kevin did set me up with the jeting setup and to get the reading i kick it over about 30 times with the throttle held wide open it really pisses me off i hope i dont have to tear it all down again but why else would it be so low im lost
  19. my compression is only about 95 psi per cylinder and i dont even have a hour worth of run time on this damn thing only runnin was testing to get it runnin right and it still isnt the left side keeps dumpin feul like crazy. and i can touc the left pipe after riding and its not hot at all but main concern is why is my compression not shit? could it be acually that low from the rings not bein seated? my mods are everything in my sig
  20. needing complete help on eveything here guys i about wanna take a sledge hammer to this damn thing it dont run worth crap and the compression is only 95 psi which i dont get at all when with the head milled and everything it should be up there it'll strart first or second kick everytime. there is so much black oil on the back of the silencers all this work and nothin to show really ticks me off
  21. lol im not even gonna go into detail about my fed ex experience i was the one who had the HERR JUGS LOST thread. boy did they catch the bad end of the phone i bitched em out for 4 days straight till my shit got here
  22. and i just tested my compression tester to see if it was right and it is so why is my sompression so low i just rebuilt this damn thing could it really be that much lower from the rings just not being seated yet? i really hope i dont have to have this damn thing bored again. that wont mess up my port job will it?
  23. my set up is on the first post its everything below in my sig runnin 340 mains stock needles on third clip air screw 1 1/2 turns out stock pilots tors removed 1000ft above sea level and runnin 40:1 amsoil dominator on 93 octane
  24. it'll start 1st or second kick everytime im severily puzzled and dissapointed its my first banshee ever owned that i waited on forever and i just did all this stuff to it and im having so many problems. would the left carb needing rebuilt cause this all too?
