  4. i wanted to know if a adjustable timing plate and a fly wheel degree key would be a good investment for a stock engine. as far performance is concerned, will this cause overheating, what kind of fuel should i use,octane? any info on this would be a great help. thanks so much! Gurnzz
  5. im am considering getting a billet water pump impeller and just wanted to know if it offers any advantages over a stock one as far as cooling ? any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Gurnzz

  7. hey if ur up for a lil day trip pittsfield state forest has some pretty good riding in pittsfield ma also there is october mountain state forest in lee ma but pittsfield is way better, much less huge rocks. unfortuanetly i dont think pittsfield opens till the middle of may. ur quad has to be registered and they say u should have sparkies but they havent checked for those on my friends quads or mine yet. that would prolly be a very long drive for you tho being that its the farthest u can go west on the mass pike !

  9. hey duner i have not had the tops of the carbs off yet. i just bought this banshee last week and all i know is that it wasnt ridding in like a year. all i have done to it so far is pipes, jets, boost bottle. new plugs, crankcase oil, fuel, k&n with no lid and some cosmetic stuff. umm when i pull off the tops of the carbs will it be obvious if the slides are in backwards??? thanks for the reply !

  16. i was looking into buying a prodesign cool head with 18cc domes. i wanted to know if this will work ok with a stock engine or what might i have to do to make it work if possible. any input would be a great help. thanks
  17. if i start with the 300 where should i put the clip on the needle. the needle is stock. and also if the 300 is a lil too much can i just lean it out a lil by moving the clip up a notch on the needle clip. reason being i ride quite a bit in pittsfield Ma which is about a thousant feet higher than my local elevation. so if it ran a lil fat at my elevation which is i believe around 125ft above sea level wouldnt it be just about right in pittsfield. i will have to order that 27.5 cuz the local dealers dont have it. do u think that the 25 pilot jet is the starting problem? thanks for the reply. greatly appreciated!
  18. no it didnt smoke really at all. i tried the lid back on before and it seemed to get worse. im going to try to up jet it to like a 300 , and change the needle position clip and see what happens from there. ill let ye know. thanks for the feedback !
  19. i have a 98 banshee. stock engine, fmf fatties with powercore 2 silencers. boost bottle. k&n filter with no lid. had a 260 main and stock pilot jet. wouldnt idle, only would start on a pop and had no acceleration. 32:1 mixture ? any suggestions( fuel ratio,jetting, etc...) i live in springfield, massachusettes. any help would be greatly appreciated !!! thanks !
