check out these a-arms. first of all they're not made for the banshee, they're 250r A-arms. They're mine, iv had em for about 2 years. The brand name is ARS/FX and they're +1 and use a longer shock. Bill Ballance is the biggest name riding on ARS/fx suspension. They use a 17-1\4 inch shock. Stock shock length is 16. I bought these A-arms from Matt Smiley, he ran ARS/FX on his 250r the last season that 250r's were allowed in the Pro class. Im working on a new 250r project and these a-arms are a part of it. I had them powdercoated translucent red about 2 years ago. Im in the process of stripping them down, sandblasting and powdercoating the arms. Iv been workin on these four A-arms for a few days, just a little work each day. So far I have all four A-arms stripped of the red powdercoat, and I have one A-arm competley finished. I took a pile of pictures and I think you guys might enjoy em. You can really apprecate the quality and the complex design in these A-arms. The TIG welds are perfect everywhere. Anyways... on with the pictures !! This is the translucent red....

Then scrape is off with a sharp putty knife or that toothbrushed sized wire brush.... finish with a rag..

Let it simmer for 20 minutes....

Let me explain this slowly to you, Im not asking her to explain herself to me, my point was she owes it to the forum. That flew right over your head and you just attack me. If she was in some big argument with someone and decided she's had enough of this place, then fine, atleast explain it to the people who are asking. Iv been talking to alot of these guys for 6 or 7 years now. The computer on my desk is not just a box with words on a screen, the people iv talked to are not just some peice of shit sitting behind a computer 1000 miles away from me. I think I'm not the only one who feels this way. Iv personnaly met atleast 50 members here in person. And hell, using your logic, Brooke can not be your freind for the very same reason you bashed me for claiming this forum is family-like. The other "tons of people who just left with no explaination" are all minor players in this forum, with the exception of Backcountry and B370. Those minor players come and go. And concernin' B370. I'd love to explain why I think Brooke played a major role in that argument. I thought that was public knowledge to anyone who followed that battle. I think everyone knows I put some of the blame on Brooke for instigating that fight. I wont explain why I think that, unless you really want me to bring that subject back from the dead. I don't think alot of people here would appreciate re-visting that conversation, and hijacking this thread, but i'd be happy to PM you my reasoning, or I'd be happy to write something up and post it here. I really don't see your point in bringin this up. I showed my true colors during that whole clusterfuck, I kept it clean and kept the insults at 1\10th the amount of the uncalled for insults that I had thrown at me. My points in that argument were very valid, why the other sides arguments have been proven wrong. What you see is what you get with me, I'm outspoken. I'v done it. I wouldnt lie. I did a whole entire frame and I'm currently working on a set of A-arms. I have 1 out of 4 A-arms stripped, I'v been stripping these A-arms whenever I can get the time. I'd be happy to take a bunch of pictures. I had these A-arms professionally powder coated too, and the AC stripper takes it right off. I won't say its the easiest job, it does take some elbow grease and some patience, but Aircraft stripper will def take off PC.

Just thinkin' about this "bored so she left" reasoning. I call bullshit. Everyone gets bored of these forums once you've been on em long enough, thats a true statement. But just suddenly leaving the forum forever and ever because your bored. Bullshit. I think there's more to the story. We're kinda like a big international family, that fights alot, and also laughs alot. You just don't get up and leave without a major reason for doing so. If she was just some yoohoo that has a years worth of time here or only has 100 posts, I can see that person getting bored and leaving. But in brookes case, you don't just completly stop posting and never say goodbye because your bored. What people do when they tire of anything is they don't just quit cold turkey. You check in on the forum every coupla days instead of multiple times per day, you answer threads like this one where people are asking where you are. If the "leaving from boredom" excuse is the truth, then Brooke's ego is worth more to her than any sense of repsonsibilty she has. She's too good to even say goodbye or reply to this thread, or even just slow down on her posting. I call bullshit on the boredom excuse. She knows alot of people don't like her, but she also knows alot of people do like her personality and to just leave is selfish. There's more to this than boredom.... Ya'd think she would get on this thead and say somethin' along the lines of "iv been busy, havent had much time anymore", or "Im sucked into another forum and havent had much time to get on here", or "I hate the BHQ", but to just up and leave without a word is selfish.......

I stripped a frame last summer with "aircraft stripper" and it worked pretty damn good. Sandblasting is the correct way to do the job, but the AC stripper will do the job. I just sprayed the frame and let it sit for 20 minutes, then sprayed it up again and let it sit for another 5 minutes then took the garden hose to the frame and washed away 75% of the PC. Then I did the process again for remaining 25% and it worked pretty damn good. A pressure washer would work better than the garden hose I used and the whole cost of strippin the pc off cost me the price of a can of stripper, about $6 bucks. It wasnt an easy job, but on the other hand it wasnt the hardest thing to do either. Gettin all the pc out of the nooks and crannies was the worst part. Just when I thought I had all the pc off, I'd find another spot of pc hiding. The frame will need to be cleaned up really really good to remove all traces of the AC stripper before you have it re-powdered coated. The Ac-stripper is definity MickyMouse compared to sandblasting it, but it works and is alot cheaper, and its more fun than havin' some dude blast it for ya.

What a crazy ass race today, Ballance and Borich fought to the end, Ballance won it by 2 seconds. Controversy this time too, as heated words broke out between the #1 and #2 pits of Ballance and Borich. the lastest story I'v heard is that Borich was riding on Ballance bumper for the last two laps of the race, and when they got into pit row, Ballance did a "brake check" to get Borich off his ass. People are saying that Chris front tires were rubbin' Ballances rear tires for two laps. Well, Ballance did his little brake check right in front of all the pits and Chris dad Joe ran over to Ballances pit screamin and yellin, thats when the factory Yamaha mechanics in Ballances pit got in Joe's face and there was alot of yellin, but not physical violence. This is going to be a great season !! GO BORICH GO !!! Borich had another bad start at this race and had to work his way up to the front, he was the fastest guy on the track, but just couldnt beat Bill to the finish line. I also heard that Ballance had something to say about Borich's tight racing technique when they were standin' on the podium after the race. All kinds of excitement. Hey everyone, great news, I got my Wrangler. Its a '97 with 90,000 miles, I got the 6 cylinder with a 5 speed tranny. Soft top with half doors. The Jeep is 100% and I love it. Anyone out there riding a Honda 450r ?? I got a nice set of front brake calipers for ya. I tore em apart, sandblasted em and powder coated em "gloss black wrinkle". The PC has a light texture to it and the gloss is a semi-gloss shine. All the seals and pistons were cleaned. The bleeders were cleaned out.
