  1. once i get the the cylinders polished i can assemble is and get a psi rating. im about 800ft above sea level.
  2. so heres the update on my engine situation. im polishing both my cub cylinders and prodesign coolheads atm so all other work has came to a stand still untill im satisfied. ive been working like a mad man to remove the casting bubbles and am about 75% complete. so heres what my motors at and i need advice about how i should run this engine. 421cub with a 4 mill vf2 reeds paul turner high revs trinity 2 into 1 with a 35mm shaved flywheel dynatek cdi and the domes were labeled 19 what im looking to find out, what type of fuel should i run? and what timing also should i have? i was told to set it at +6 and turn the cdi on stock curve but i wasnt sure. for the time being im stuck with a 2 into 1 untill i can afford a dual carb setup agian. any suggestions on what size carbs i should be running? for the time being though what should my current jetting be? is there even a jet big enough?

  5. your foot pegs will fit but buy a clutch saver/pancake bearing!!!!!! turst me dont make the same mistake i made, lockups create a whole shitload of unnecessary stress when you pull it the clutch to decelerate.
  6. how come you cant find these for sale? and if they were at one time when? because it dosnt seem like many exist. lonestar makes a banshee chassis but it hols the stock geometry

  11. ive always use rm stators, the only problem ive ever had they tryed giving me a 100 vs a 200 watt. never had any complains!

  14. adjust the philips head clutch adjuster in the center of the pressure plate untill you get it to fully disingage. this may suck if u dont have a quick change clutch cover
  15. the guy i bought my beater bike claims it has a rz350 tranny in it, how would i tell, whats the difference
  16. id also like to know, ever one said a magnet, but finidng one strong enough and small enough is key, i seem some at autozone, but i wouldnt bet my money on it working
  17. heres wat i did for my ptrs first was them as best as u can with a degreaser of your choice make sure u can eat off them. then take sos pads and make sure u have enough water to reduce the pads friction and work on the rust areas then take a steel and chrome specific polisher/rust remover and let it soak in, and then wipe away by this step you should be almost 95% done and it requires attention to detail to cover up them missed spots hope this helps

  19. well im going to be building a cub engine, i told her pretty much wat all youve guys said, minus the part where it came from, and i think weve came to an agreement. i wont have the cylinders or crank this week but ill make her help me split the cases and itll go in either two directions. me telling her to leave because shes crying about how boring it is, or her doing what she said she will and participate

  23. ok, im starting to get it. i call the guy and he said he has domes that will fit a pro design, but im unsure if they will fit in a fireball. i have a set of pro designs so if all else fails i use the pro designs on my new engine
