  1. How do i know if the philips head clutch adjuster in the center of the pressure plate is fully disengaged or not?
  2. how do i know if it is fully disengaged?
  3. I took out my engine, split the cases and put everything back together. Starts and runs great but the clutch will barley work. I squeeze it in and its like the clutch in the engine is only half way. I followed all the steps from the repair manual. What can i do to fix the clutch?
  4. I just found where they go right after i posted this, but thanks anyways.
  5. I just put my banshee back together and I have to tubes with clips on the end. I have no idea where they go and i tried looking in the manual and I cant seem to find it. One tube is the one that comes out right behind the water pump cover and the other tube is the one that is connected to the engine in the back, by where the carburetor's drain out if they overflow. I dont know where either of these tubes connect. PLEASE HELP Josh
  6. mine did the exact same thing on the right side. I didnt test mine because that was the only thing it could have been. I split the cases and replaced all of the seals, prolly wouldnt hurt for you to do the same thing
  7. I had the same problem with mine and i had to split the cases and replace the crank seals. When doing this, i also replaced the other seals, might as well because you already have the engine open.
  8. do you have pictures of the top end including the cylinders and cool head? VERY INTERESTED!!
  9. well i was only wondering because new motorcycle engines are inexpensive and all banshee parts are expensive. I need a new top end, and i dont want to spend really over a $1000 but i want new jugs, pistons, and a cool head but i really do not want to buy a new crank. Any ideas?
  10. I do love the shee engine, but i was possibly thinking about putting a motorcycle engine in. Does anyone know what type of sportbike engine (like a r1, cbr, anything like that) would fit the engine mounts on the shee frame with little to no modification?
  11. do you have pictures of the top end that you are selling??
  12. If it turns out to be the crank seal, how hard would that be to replace? What would I have to do to replace the seal?
  13. I started my banshee up today and it started right up and ran great but i noticed there was only smoke coming out from the right side and not the left. Although there was no smoke coming from the left side, there was still exhaust coming out. I tried tuning the mixture screws and the idle screws but the smoke never changed. Also when i gave it gas, mass amounts of smoke came out only from the right side. How can i fix this and correct the problem?
  14. I did not have much time to mess around with the air screws but i did make sure they were set to 1.5 turns, but when they were set to that the shee did not want to start. I started messing around with the screws and then i started to get a better kick and start. Also the slides were in the right carbs, for sure.
  15. I can only get it to start if i take the individual k&ns off and spray starter fluid into the carbs. I know this is a bad thing to do but if i pull the choke and try starting it, it wont start. I just put new cylinders and pistons in(both .5 over) used carbs that are clean and exhaust system. Once it does start to run when i give it gas the engine bogs down and dies. Help please!!
