  2. how cool are normal (dumb) carbs eh ?
  3. Address 10552 Stanford Ave Garden Grove, California 92840 Phone +1 714-530-2215
  4. It's about 5-600 for OEM stickers. I priced some up for my 08.
  5. It will be more than 1k. It will be around 600 just in shipping. You'll have to find a used bike with good plastics. And get them shipped. Prepare for around, 2-3k.
  6. get some paint. or spend like 2-3k importing some. 2010-2013 are all those colours, they sell them here.
  7. when i asked mr sniper about sniper pipes on a 4mm as cast serval, he said the those pipes wont suit the low timed serval. has anyone ran sniper's on as cast 4mm serval ?
  8. spark plug caps can cause some spluttering also. get multimeter and ohm the caps, they are 5k ohm caps, so should test under that. if they good, cut like 20mm off the plug lead and re screw back on, if not good replace the cap and do the same to the plug wire. poor/incorrect dome design can mess things up too. for pump 98 fuel, the domes would wanna be around 23-24cc for shelf domes. youre not running an aftermarket cdi or stator are you ? checked the pickup gap clearance at the flywheel ?
  9. i run shearers on mine, pretty happy with them. cpi would be a good pipe also, pull bit harder down low.
  10. LED's are 1600 ? 800 is pretty cheap now huh !
  11. well a big flat spot to me, kinda sounds lean. does it splutter or anything or just die in the flat spot ? have you synch'd the carbs ? at half throttle the slides might be off. and at full throttle, be all the way open. but they would have to be pretty far out for a big flat spot. all needles/jets the same in each carb ? try the cel, in middle clip and see how that is. and make sure the carbs are synch'd. whats your elevation and are you in real cold/snow side of au ?
  12. mid range as in mid rpm or half throttle ? wide open throttle, mid rpm could be needle or main half throttle could be needle, pilot or main if your plugs are black and oily after some wide open throttle pulls, then ya main is rich. what size domes are you running ?
  13. Are you comparing to a stock cylinder ? 421 cubs don't have the best bottom end. They are top end orientated. What do the plugs look like after a good run ? Tried 158s ?
  14. maybe back the timing down to stock and run good pump gas(not old either) and keep checking the plugs. or run 22's. it has pretty loose squish for stock stroke which is on the safer side. i ran 20cc on my 350 i think it was kicking around 165-170 with +7 timing. but using avgas/pump mix
  15. something funky is going on, did jeff say anything about the cylinders being decked ?
  16. 160 seems a bit high for 21's at 300 above. is it 68mm bore ? i wouldnt run any + advanced timing on that. 94oct minimum. who setup the build ? its a thick base gasket ?
  17. oil ? and i thought these things were just really unreliable.
  18. they require less power to fire. but arnt really needed in these things. no harm in using them. just a bit expensive
  19. only place you get oil from, is from the oil/gas separation in the crank case / combustion area. so this is normal. head gasket blown, leaks coolant. coolant leak in combustion arear, cleans everything. also wouldnt waste money on them plugs. just run br8es's
  20. Turn the sprocket when ya go through the gears.
