well we tore into it and the top end was shot. the pistons had A LOT of play in cylinders. the port job that the previous did was pure crap. i ended up buying a stage 5 Trinity kit from a guy who never had it installed. i got Trinity cylinders that have been ported by Trinity, new pistons (65mm 0r 65.5mm, can't remember), trinity head with the domes, using a thinner gasket to bump up the compression a little more. should have around 12.5:1 compression. is this a good set up? total mods would be:
mods listed above running on 110
35mm carbs with k&n filters, no airbox
pro circuit exhaust
boyesen reeds
anything else i can do to bump up the power? what kind of power can i expect once we get it finished? is this going to be a good set up for trail riding and going to the dunes once or twice a year?
