    ok to get back to your problem....I would check that nut on the clutch basket then fresh fluid in the case...but if you do get it ingear and feel like netural might need to put new clutches in it..

    yep...just about finish with my rebuild stared only with a new clutch kit ended with over 3 grand in to the motor and tranny...i think i put too much power to give it to my 15 yr old....

    if your talking about the nut on the clutch basket in the center yourcable would just to in and not release...that is what happen to mine....also near both of use in palo alto....

    look for mounting hardware for ac racing pro peg nerf bars Laegar..new or used or where i can order it???

    just have to remove the all the tors...

    well I give my 2 cents...your getting fuel in the carbs...they just might be out of sync..and adjustment..since it will start with ether...thats how mine was...

    yes you can adj it in a the basket.only thing is have to drain all fluid to get to it..get your self a clymer repair book if doing it your self...

    i have the fmf gold on mine and had to notch the petcock for clearence..

    I do have an extra stator . the wireing harnest no i dont but the bike shop near me might have an other one that is where i picked mine up at for about 50 bucks. just give a call and will try to hook you up..

    if the person who had it before you used the wrong hub puller they could have damage the stator and or the flywheel like mine and said it the cdi ...where you cant check it unless you have an other bike that you know it works with the same wire harness...

    did you get my message i sent you.. I have an 88 with an extra cdi live in pottsville ,pa.. i had the same problem but did it the hard way...did you check both checks on the stator that is in the book or just the one??

    you can go to yamaha dealer and buy a new oem 200 watt but you pay top dollar for it or keep an eye on e-bay..

    yes that is how they are it is for the choke...

    i had the same problem you said you took the carbs off and apart, they are out of sink and out of adjusted...you need someone really good to get them setup perfect. there a bitch unless you got a good ear..

    I just rebuilt motor having problems getting it to start now with the spark so i changed cdi, flywheel stator wireharned. have spark but wont fire up?? anything else to look at?? also changed carbs.
