  1. Changing the tire on a single beadlock still requires a tire tool and sometimes a bead breaker. Changing the tire on a dual beadlock does not require anything other than a ratchet to take the rings off.
  2. now that is funny. This would be for an asphalt bike, so not a lot of wear.
  3. How well do you think it would hold up to race cut plastic with very little flex?
  4. Matt @ SoCal has some of the best deals around and quality of work is top notch.
  5. I agree, but it is a crime of opportunity. Odds are it will take place when you are not even home. It would be nice to catch someone in the act. I am from one of the roughest parts of Dallas. Where your car was pretty much the only thing at risk. It was not until I moved to the burbs when I had something stolen from my own home. Go figure
  6. In a large metro area like Dallas, the nicer the area you live in the more likely someone will steal your shit. The poor steal from the the rich, so unless you are in a gated community you should always take precautions of protecting your things. Even with insurance, I still take steps to prevent theft. Somethings can not be replaced if stolen. For example, 80% of the tools I own were my fathers.
  7. Diamond plate running boards rock.......aka modded nerfs... Thats the new -2+1 set up.
  8. Some parts change in size when chromed. So may not fit right when put together. Chrome cost A LOT more than polishing.
  9. This could have went several different ways. Andy's reply just shows that he is truly a stand up guy to do business with.
  10. I will swing, Andy has great service no matter how much you spend. Hell even if you dont spend a dime, he still helps you out if he can. /nust swing
  11. Well that depends on tires, and riding type that I am going to do, ext... Sag is a general setting and I always set it first. Then move onto more performance setting (rebound, compression, preload) Set on the bike with your gear on. Jump around on it, let it settle. Have someone measure from the frame to the floor around the back of the motor. Then around the front of the motor. Then get off the bike slowly. Measure it again. This is Sag. You can set both front and rear from this point. hard core trails, I limit sag to about 2" max, dunes I set it up around 3. Trails my ride hight was normally Rear 7 1/2" 20" tire, front 7 3/4" 21" front. I set it up this way running Fox Evols, according to Fox.
  12. I always set mine up with about 2-3"s of sag with full gear.
  13. Yeah, I know thats right......a built outlaw was a 20k bike before the 450's came out. Not sure what site it was on, but Springer had a vid of a monorail shee FLYING over woops like is was nothing. It was bad ass.
  14. Why change a good thing? Just make it better by makeing it fast. lol
  15. I like it......I bet it floats like a caddy. BUT....I would take cam's Outlaw banshee in the for sale section before this one. or that 611 would do as well.
  16. Walk away from that deal. Way to much for a stock bike. Stock shee's sell for less than modded shee's unlike other bikes. Stock bikes have LOTS of shitty parts that require upgrading right out of the box. You can find some really good deals for 3k. Special edition does not mean much, only diff color plastic. I hope 400 hours was a typo......thats a shit ton.
  17. Yes, that just happened. lol.... clackity clack kapow.
  18. They have 2 types of tools. One looks like the carrier adjuster, the other looks similar CO2 cartridge. The tip ends have different diameters.
  19. You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
  20. This is what I do. I sit on the back, hook a strap from the grab bar to the carrier so it stays in place when you get off the bike. Slap the chain on and adjust with the righy slack. Done.
  21. I called Elka and they gave me one for free. Just had to pay shipping. Mine would not turn by hand, but you could fit an allen wrench in it and turn it somewhat. The tool fits in your hand, and has a little tip on it that fits in the little hole on the shock. A phillips heads may even fit.
  22. Pics don't do this bike justice. You can't see the detail that went into the frame work. From the rear shock, to the front geo, dope bike.
  23. I ran a beater bike @ 110psi@500ft for 1.5 years with no issues. I was just waiting for the wheels to fall off. LOL.... I rebuilt the topend, and with the same tester it was up around 128ish. That was on a beater. If it would have been a bike that I had some cash into, I would have not ran it like that.
