  1. i had an 07 ltr with no air box lid and a cherry bomb and my 07 shee with just t6's airbox vents no snorkle jetted fairly well and the ohhhh so powerfull moose racing boost bottle! lol haha on a hard packed oil'd road second gear start on the shee i could leave the ltr as soon as i hit 3rd gear and just wave at it good bye . i couldent launch in second on the ltr unless i really sliped the clutch it just hooked to good the shee would just spin right through second. others will say this is false but both were mine and both were new 6 months old and almost same results when riders were switched i hung in there a little better when riding the ltr but still lost . just a little first hand experiance
  2. thanks guys.... yeah like i said i was worried i would fuck it up but it real easy as long as you use your head when you do it and yeah i like the no bumper but i am going to order the proarmor dominator front bumper but they dont make it for the shee so i am going to get one from a yfz or ltr and make some brackets to mount it i just need to see what one fits the closest.

  4. yeah i was the same way lol i had the sawsall out and thought twice about it but then just went at it lol. i marked them with a sharpie and then sawed them off an inch awayfrom the line and then used a new olfa knife and a propane torch to warm up the plastic to make it easier to cut. dont get it to hot but just keep triming away it only took about an hour so i say just do it lol
  5. i got bored today so i cleaned up some parts and cut the fronts off what do you think? i just set the fenders on to see how they looked im just begining to build this thing

  7. i am trading in my t6's for some shearers and need some jetting info..... bike will have stock carbs 20cc domes, carbon tech reeds, +4 timing when reassembled. with the t6s it had an air box with lid and no snorkel air box vents 280 main 27.5 pilot and toomey needle on 2nd or 3rd clip? cant remember but the carbs are off so i can look if needed oh and i am selling the whole kit to my buddy and he is taking the needles and everything any advice would be great because i need to get some jets ordered lol thanks
  8. i currently am running the toomey t6's and i am planning a new 4 mill build and getting some shearers and am planning a trip a trip to the dunes and am worried about the db level of these pipes and am wondering if i need a hush kit? i like it load so i dont want to buy a hush kit if not needed does any one know the db on these 2 pipes? and i am also wondering how strickt the rules are on db and sparkies? thanks

  10. yeah man bought my 07 off the floor new! and 0 i repeat 0 days of warranty on a "racing" quad or dirt bike in canada! its bullshit but what can you do and my she only makes a racket when its cold and vibrates like a bitch it will make your feet numb but goes away over half throttle and as soon as it gets warm it works perfect just the first 3-5 min of riding
  11. if its that hard to start then you have a jetting issue mine wouldent start when i changed pipes and had to go to a 27.5 pilot but the bog in 6th is weird did it just start doing it out of no where?
  12. i live in forrt mcmurray alberta and it is -32f here right now as we speak lol but i run h1r belray 32:1 or 40:1 in the summer and allways 32:1 in the winter because the air is alot more dense and i use si7 belray in the winter and never had a problem and starts 1st or second kick hope this helps

  14. yeah the guys at the dealers are morons i buried my sportsman in the lake and snaped the front left drive axle right rear drive axle the rear brake caliper snapped in half tore up the front drive shaft u joint and every brake component broke, they replaced the resevoir and everything it was a mess! it took two 700 grizzlys burried in the sand pulling with there winches me spinning three wheels one was snapped and pulling with my winch and abunch of drift wood under it and when i took it in to get repaired they fixed it all for free lol it was great for me bad for polaris haha any moron would have known it was a fuck up not faulty parts but hey it looked like this. " not trying to hijak the thread just proving what loco said oh yeah and it only had 48km on it when it happened oh and it got worse after this pic was taken the more we pulled the further down it went in
  15. yeah man its a nice truck i like it. i have heard lots of bad things about the dpf but i have yet to experience anything the truck runs like a top i get 20 mpg out of it on the high way as long as i have the cruise at 110km or lower its nice but big man the thing is like a schoolbus the only reason i bought it was to haul my fifth wheel trailer actually i have a pic of that to i stay in it when im at work in mcmurray the pic isent great but its 39feet long with 4 big slides and that truck drags it along no problem at all

  17. i break in my motors all the same ....... i am just getting into banshee's but have raced motocross for years and am into drag racing my camaro and have built quit a few small blocks and cr 250's. although not exactly the same but still fresh engines. i let them warm up to temp run them for 5 min at 1/4 throttle then cool then at 1/2 throttle for 5 min then let them cool down, drop the oil start it up and then go through the rpm range a few times after warmed up ride or drive like an adult for a half hour check fluids and then hammer it cuz if its going to blow its going to blow right then. lol might not be the best way ..... but its my way and i havent had a motor go sour yet.. just my 2 cents

  19. went to go for a good days ride with the gf. talked her into trying a new riding area about 2 hours away when i got there and unloaded the ltr 450 realized i forgot the key. i was so pissed i drove home and got it and went back for the ride it was brutal. ....... oh and then we brought our 100lbs german shepard to run with us and after an hour or so he was so exhausted that i had to ride back with him in front of me paws on the bar pad and my gf on the back wearing a backpack with 5 liters of gas and a bunch of water in it it was awful

  21. i have an o7 with t6's and the toomey kit 280 mains 27.5 pilot and thats it for performance. i am buying in the next few days an adjustable timing plate, tors remove and either v force 3's or a noss cool head. but i am not sure what i should buy first the reeds or head and if i get the head what size domes should i run thanks ofh elevation is 1250 feet and i would like to run it on pump gas for now thanks
  22. I jusrt fixed my shee today same problem put in a 30 pilot 1.5 turns out and thats it man works awsome
  23. hey guysthe bike does run good with the air screws out .5 of a turn out but it idles funny after running it real hard it revs up high but if i give it a shot of gas it will idle down do i need to sync the carbs?
  24. im oing to get some new plugs and try it out today but the yamaa bealer here only has 30 pilots will that be fine? or to big? and i am going to try and do a plug test today but its f-n cold man work was cancled its minus 42 c out right now and i dont have a garage here it sucks
