  3. Just seems to always need adjustments either airscrew or a float problem ad it is finicky with pilot jet size and needle position
  4. I want to build a 10mm cub probably drag ported so I might get 39's but I just hate these stock carbs it never runs perfect it's always something
  5. Ok I'm going to grab some 35's and run them on a new motor and I might grab 28's for the bolt on bike
  6. You have to go billet after a 10 mm don't you ? For me the bigger the better was also thinking of a super cub or a cheetah but I allready have a head and small bore sheares an don't really want to get into new pipes and heads save some $$$$
  7. The only reason I was thinking seven is because of the reliability of the 10 mill was in question
  8. I have read that there are reliability issues with the ten mill cranks i was not sure if that was true and is the power difference much different between it and a 4 mill? If it is only a few hp I won't go through the truble I will just drop a 4 mill in it

  10. Looking into building a new motor and I am curious to know if a 7mm 10mm or even bigger would stay fairly reliable? I'm looking at a 10mm cast crank and not sure if I want cub or serval cylinders yet. This bike hardly gets ridden it will be a play bike for really fast dirt/ fire roads and where we camp it is all sand for 100km and a small dune back there. I'm looking for big power but would like something reliable enough to put a couple hundred km to and from those dunes a couple times a year. Any info would be great my buddy has a fast 4mill serval with clean up port and you know how it goes I need more power then him lol. Should I do a drag ported cub or a dune serval ? Thanks

  13. What size is that small jet in that small hole in the carb on the filter side . My buddy was messing with his bike and pulled them out and lost them.oh they are stockers
  14. And that is not the worst of it...... You need a damn fuel truck to get there because I can't even get there on a tank of fuel!

  17. all right so i moved the need clip down to the fith slot from the top brought my main jets up to 320 "was the biggest i had" and it got a little better but still not right. the bike starts in three kicks but like mentioned before it smokes alot more from the left exhaust pipe what is causing this next thing to do is a leaktest but i need to go get the materials to build it and i sprayed carb cleaner around my carb boots and nothing? i think i am going to pull it apart and reseal the case and new gaskets and see what happends
  18. thanks savage but its been like this since june but i fucked my hand up bad and this is the first time i am able to work on it. i will pull it apart and try it again. i will let you know what happens.

  20. ok here it goes i pulled the motor apart and checked the transmission so i split the cases and now that it is back together it wont pull right. it seems to start well and idle fine .... even rev perfectly with no load on the motor. when i take it for a ride it will take off fine but falls on its face and pops and sputters from 1/4 throttle untill allmost wide open where it starts to pull again but still pops and sputters a bit. what i cant understand is that it works not bad in first but each gear gets worse. I checked compression its 148 and 145 psi with 20cc domes at 1250ft, the timing is at +5, carbon tech reeds, tors eliminator kit, with 27.5 pilot toomey needles on 4th clip from the top and 290 mains. pipes are shearer inframes and the bike smokes more out of the left side pipe. Is this problem an air leak some where? it sounds like its missing really bad allmost electrical or timing maybe? When i checked the plugs today they looked perfect any help would be great. thanks

  22. That sucks man I'm giung to have to look into this...... Maybe I will have to invest in chromeing because this is bs!
  23. I would like to rechrome my pipes. They are in good shape but the chrome is flaking a bit .
  24. It sounds fine... I just fired mine up last night and the colder it is the more smoke will be there. Take the bike for a good hard run and get it good and hot. I also forgot to mention when the bike sits for a long time the oil tends to settle a bit. That's what causes it o be hard to start.
