i heard you couldnt get them re chromed because the oils and carbon on the inside will ruin all the chroming agents and crap..

we just bought an 87 with the same problem the bottom case.. and it needed a piston and reeds and we got it for 700

i live in Las Vegas and he has his new shop out here ATV CYCLE SPORTS. its the best place ever..he is still heavy into the banshee scene but his shop is getting more and more 4 strokes. i go there all the time for all my needs and get discounts a lot.. his red and yellow banshee is in the back of his shop under a quad cover. next time im in there i'll ask him if i could snap some pictures of it..according to him.. we are pretty much his favorite customers and he really likes us so we are in good with him

i have a graydon 2 into 1 intake its just the intake manifold tube part and rubber manifold to mount the carb to. asking $90 i just polished this also will email pic upon request becaus the HQ wont let me upload them.

i go to armagosa all the time. im going the 18.and maybe stay a few days.. and its a really good place to ride if you beat everyone out there to the babysoft sand.other than that. the wind never kicks up to resurface the dunes.my last trip sucked, the dunes were really tore up and all the sand at the bottom of comp was gone and left ALL the rocks..other than that its a really good place to ride and you dont have to worry about all the people at dumont.

now this makes us having 5. we got the one for 1200 that we traded our blaster for. me and ls1Inferno got its done and just needs some tuning then we bought another 1987 for 700 bucks and so far its been pretty good with it. works dual rate front shocks plus 4 swinger.dune port *just found out* pulled the reeds off. new(er) topend. and now i need to pull the motor our to change the cases to our good ones. the chain came off on the guy we bought it from and busted the heck outta the cases and broke the top and cracked the livin he** outta the bottom and it leaks

i did the "build you own" and it said gas guzzler tax after all my options. i got a pretty good laugh outta it

i live in vegas and the only place to really ride anymore out here is nellis dunes, aka APEX its got some decent sand hills to shoot up but they are kinda rocky, really good places and things to jump and all goes on FOREVER! apex isnt really all sand. its a lot of like dirt the other place i go riding is armagosa valley sand dunes, its about a hour and a half from vegas and consist of some good size bowls, comp hill, and some other hills that are softer than comp and steeper also

well me, my bro,and my dad are finishing up our swap of a zx900R motor in a banshee and its a lot of work,kinda heavy but goin to be fun ahha

i have a 97 with red front plastics, rears, tank cover, and black seat, and it has a red frame to. my 87 is white front and rear and a red tank cover and grill.

yeah i had a twist on my banshee and i rode it twice in the whoops and on this desert trail with rocks, boulders tight turns etc etc, and dang near killed myself. thats why i changed to thumb and have a thumb extender, its a lot easier to push because more leverage.
