THE MOTOR HAS JUST BEEN 100% REBUILT!!!THIS IS THE BEST PRICED BANSHEE ON CRAIGS LIST!!!if you come to my home and see this thing make one pass down my road you WILL buy it! 1995 yamaha banshee motor was just recived 12 days ago after a fresh top and bottom end rebuild done by a banshee specilist $476.52 was pressure tested for leaks and all parts inspected,new shift shaft with shift star shaved for easy shifting, new clutch springs,fly wheel nut, billit alum. impeller, new gasket kit and seals all around, new crank bearings.... $488.65 for a 35mm PWK 2 into 1 carb, 2 into 1 manifold, aluminum airbox braket, stainless throttle cable... $50 K and N clamp on air filter with outerwears, $682.49 for Dyna prgramable CDI with 4 differant maps aka curves, V force 3 reeds with 1/2 in spacers and alum parking break block off kit.... $90 bored 50 over with $300 wiseco pro lite pistons and a trued and welded crank, FMF fattys with power core 2's, $330 ac racing pro peg nerf bars and full skid plates. with all the parts added up the quad is basicly selling for $1000 with $2000 in brand new parts! idk your elevation or temps but the idle has to do with you poilt in some cases try a few differant sizes or theres a guy on here he knows alot about 2 into 1 he helped me i think his user name is somethign like slipowski IDK but he post alot you should be able to find him

personally im too tired to but i think question number 33 on the "everything about jetting" sticky will tell ya what ya need to know on how to do it not why but maybe yaa gain a lil more info and see why ppl prefer it? also never heard of or did a plug chup untill banshee hq always just looked at it.peace n nigth

I have a 2 into 1 Carb and someone was telling me about eej or eek needles and ive read alot about them on here but still can figure out the differance between them so this thread will help me and others hopefully if some one could answer...THANKS!

good question i forgot but was told once and bought a 35mm.... bigger is always better.. no i dont know im just saying that but im interested to know. id say porting and such like intest drag racing might need more fuel IE 35 as opposed to 33

goto k mart wal mart whatever and buy a big tupper ware used for storage put a towel on the bottom and some newspaper then drop yer motor in then newspaper all around till the motors snug with the top part left open for parts.. put the parts in then a towel on top if ya like more news paper then maybe a piece of cardboard..get creative thats what i did...then goto the UPS store or what ever post office and have them weigt it to hip it and write out a mailing addres one with you as the sender and you as the reciver put the one that makes you the reciver in the box with yer motor and let here rip....that way the person can work on your motor then just leave it for ups to pick it up...saves time makes ppl happy. i just got my motor back from jeff at FAST racing looks clean he was easy too work with, told me what i need and it was very far priced...jeffs my mechanic...everyone has there own

thanks for the fast reply guys.. so the hole is fine if its left open? or does some sorta rubber gromet/stoper go in there? ohh and im running a trinity 2 into 1 carb anyone got some jetting specs for me in at sea level, summer time bout 70 to 80 degrees...

just got the motor back from fast racing all put together i just had a few questions before it goes back in the frame... how mauch oil does it take again i forgot and theres a hole on the top of my block it looks like it goes inside of the actully case(where the oils is) ..is this normal i mean the whole motor was rebuilt by a professional, i doubt he over looked this but could be possible...heres a picture. and if anyone has some more tips for me to make the motor install easyer.... let em rip because i want it to go as smoth as possible..thanks and peace..the hole is in the bottom left hand corner..and on the motor, if you were looking down on it as if you were sitting on the seat its on the left side right behind the cylinder.

for port work id go with www.farmandsandtoys.com the located in ks which is kinda close and its 250 for a woods port and he will accomodate what ever you want so a little dune / woods port would be no prob

if you cut these two wires will your stock kill switch/lights thing still work to turn your bikke off?

im spliting the cases and going to run them threw a diesel bath i was just woundering ... can i just pull the transmission gears out and averything else...clean it up and put it all back in or is there a certain order to it all?

yea if its sweet smelling its coolant..thats why cats love to drink coolant(it smells sweet to them)...then die this seems like the most common prob. if its something eles its the seal on the RH crank side like someone eles suggested but i'd go with the gasket first. cheaper fix and cant hurt.

piaa 40 series, hella 500's.... or rickystator sell 3 differant style lighting kits starting at 175 and toppin out at 250...check em out there lightes with nice brackets...you could also buy your own lights and make your own bracket. do a search too theres a bunch of post i did one yesterday. and check out the dc conversion it that might help...and rememeber that huge wattage lights need bigger stators... 2x35watts is stock!
