  1. yes the porting will help out alot on the 4mm setup and boring i would only go out as much as needed.. the port timing will be off cuz of the extra travel of the piston on the stroke.. i recommend not running a plate or more gaskets .. cut the head to allow the piston to clear .. CPI in frames work well on this sett up.. they work well in the trails as well as drag racing.. carbs and porting with the cpi's will scream..
  2. cutting corner will cause big probs.. there is a alot to porting a set of shee cylinders... i would be more than happy to port your jugs for u.. i know i'm not on here much but im on a few other sites as sponcors.. we biuld sum of the fastest machines around for a good price .. choice wisely cuz there are alot of ways to mess them up vs get them right it takes alot of time and effort to port them correctly.. measuring , flow testing all come in to play will porting.. making pipes carbs reeds the squish ban on the head.. timing.. gassrx.com

  5. in that case wouldnt any power mod case this problem. building more power/torque doesnt it push down on the crank harder,, timing could be an issue .. just my 2 cents
