  3. or was scared to change them as the effect of the overal or un sure,, the transfers are a mess in the shee cylinders but if they run the way u want it to run then money well spent... everyone does stuff dif for sure..
  4. ^^^^^^^^ thats funny gasket to cylinder match .. is a good mod dont take a bunch out because the alumi wont tranfer heat as well to chanber the heads it is to widen or narrow the squish band for power out put and to prevent predetinaion ...
  5. the cpi set up would be sweet trail machine plus mean to craptors straight up..... with the right port set up... the cubs like the pv would be mean ... plus 4mm ... ouch trees cum up quick lol need tractor wieghts to hold the frontend down..

  7. are the cylinders being bored to the correct talerances meaning the are different bores to piston fit... cast is different from forged pistons... are u holding it wide open for a long ways to town that will cause it to... oil ratio brand of oil..
  8. no to octane boost.. . the porting dont go cheap and if the hp numbers sound to high or crazy , hang up.. there are alot of good builders out there... porting is touchy stuff.. the right combos ,, pipes, carbs ,, comp,,, riding style,, wieght gearing,, fuel,, elevation... all come into play while building a motor.. gassrx.com

  10. genoa nebraska , we have a cool little sand pile near us called the head gates to the locals .. the name now is the head works park ... we have to 2 atv and dirt bike rallies every year ... sand drags with lights.. camping...

  17. cpi inframes with a 196 and 128 or t5's will rip hard with 35mm but that would kill the sleeper plus needing 8" swinger to handle it.. t'5 s are great pipes but you will loose a little more torque than the cpi's and shearers,, t3's yes better sleeper

  19. doesnt jb weld melt with gas .. the jb weld i used i put it on a pieces of aluminum and let it curr for 4 days put it in gas over night and it would peal off.. i was going to use it till i found this out..
  20. i use alot of ur hand pieces and have 2 of the motors they work great... sorry to high jack... case porting match the transfers but also i like to open up the oil drillins to help lube the bearings.. dont polish make them a nice clean even finish .. if polished the fuel will stick to them causing a lean state hurting the out put of the motor... www.gassrx.com

  22. i use amsoil but cant use it with alky.. sad cuz i luz it.. so klotz for alky amsoil for gas ...
  23. if u have a tig it is very possible for u to weld them but most are held in a jig so they cant pull// meaning warp or twist.. in the long run i would just send them .. im sure there are tricks to that trade plus being a twin it might get crazy.. if it was a single i would say have at it but on those cranks... i wouldnt and i have built alot of motors....
  24. i would spend a little more and have that done as well save u so trouble down the road.. on the 4mm u wont need to cut the cases but it is recommended to run the long rod and get the special pistons from wiseco as well.. if u have any questions feel free to pm me
