  1. im looking for 1 headlight grille its the plastic cross pattern on the front of the light mine broke a peice off
  2. sweet it looks like thats what im gonna go with...how good are the banshees in the snow with a good set of tires? ive never ridden one in the snow i know its not a 4wd but im just wonderin how they do
  3. hey guys I'm looking to buy a spare set of tires for my quad and I'm gonna use them strictly for snow what are the best snow tires out there..so far I've been looking at the maxxis 4 snow tires anyone have any experiences with them?
  4. im not sure if all those special types of coolant freeze but i know some of them freeze easily you may want to read the container and see what it says
  5. the most important part will be making sure the motor sits square so its lined up perfect..it will require alot of fabrication
  6. be sure you use antifreeze do not use any special stuff like water wetter anywhere where its cold it will freeze up

OK guys thanks for all the help i got my headlights and handlebar light/run switch today went out to hook them up and found the harness was not cut in fact its mint :biggrin: so i plugged the lights in and went to plug the handlebar switch in and here they have a piece of wire jumping 2 wires so you cant plug it in.. now from factory on the switch harness it has the main square plug then a single wire with a spade connector on it.. they have that spade connector on the bike side of the harness spliced right into the ignition instead of the run switch so... they have this thing setup for the kill switch that you hook to your wrist if you fall off so there is no factory run/light switch.. id like to keep the switch that they have on there but i want a functional headlight switch and i don't care if the factory run switch works.. can anyone help me with what i need to do sorry i just read over this and its a little confusing lol i hope someone understands it

  9. detonation (pre ignition) happens when the fuel mixture ignites before its supposed to in the combustion chamber and it will destroy a motor fast. the lower the fuel octane is the more volatile the mixture is and more likely to detonate

  14. ok so i went and bought a new chain and new sprockets i went with the stock 14/41 gears does anyone know if the chain comes with the stock 104 links i swear the box says it has 120 i didnt get a chance to count them yet. whats the best way to take out the extra links?
  15. sorry I'm a newbie wtf is fire break lol but yes I'm gonna ride fields trails and in the snow.. i know the minor mods don't warrant the 5 ft swing arm lol i guess the guy didn't know what he was doing don't laugh at me i didn't set the bike up my guess is he was setting up the chassis for a larger more powerful motor but never got to it..i think I'm gonna put the stock gears back on..i guess now after taking the swing arm off and putting stock gears back on I'm really gonna feel a big difference in power and it will probably pull the front end up a lot easier.. and i thought it was fast as hell before lol
  16. lol i live in lancaster PA land of the amish there is nothing but thousands of acre's of chopped down feilds here in fall and winter great for riding.. what is this cheeta motor you speak of?
  17. does anyone know where i can buy a fully built bad ass race motor ive benn searching but havent seen anything.. i wnat something thats gonna make alot of power probaly have a stroker crank boared pistons ported ect ect maybe have those cub cylenders ive been seeing...i just wanna build a crazy motor and money isnt gonna be an issue so lets hear your opinions...thanks
  18. one guy mentioned to go back to stock gears but with the power mods i have i shouldnt need to go back to the stocks cause they will be to short wont they? my mods are delta v force reeds, JE 20.over pistons,coolhead stock comp.,pro circut pipes, jetted carbs, boost bottle..
  19. the guy was running hoosier slicks on it but had him take them off and put the stocks back on when i bought it so im not sure of the size..he was running the 1/4 mile with it and he said his best time was 13.6 @88 mph so i dont know if thats a good time or not maybe he was running the wrong gears

  21. ok after searching for like an hour thrugh like 100 chain questions i couldnt find the info im looking for..i got my banshee a couple weeks ago it was setup for asphalt drags it had a +12 swing arm and 16/44 gearing im not going to be draging the bike so im swapping out the swing arm for a stock one. now im trying to figure out what gearing i want for trail riding and some riding in the snow i guess im looking for something about in the middle of high speed and low end power..i have brand new 14 15 16 and 17 tooth front sprokets and a 41 and 44 rear sprokets.. im guessing i could use the huge chain that was on it cause it is brand new and cut it down right? how do i do this can i just grind down the pins? and aprox how many links should my chain have for a specific gearing? thanks

  23. no one knows about this box? what about any other cdi boxes? this is about the only mod i dont have on my bike so im wondering if its worth it
  24. either your wheels need balenced or... do you drive through mud alot? check the back side of the rims and see if there is mud caked in them the mud is enough to throw them off balance ive seen it a hundred times
