i keep forgeting all my mods so im gonna try to update the list.. Douglas wheels brand new Razr tires DG front bumper DG new nerf bars SS brake lines renthal bars twist throttle/have old thumb throttle still pro circut pipes RS timing plate fresh rebuild with new JE pistons cool head jetted carbs v force reeds boost bottle K&N pod filters with velocity stacks (BAD ASS!) brand new sprockets/ many extras new DID chain not even installed yet i think its the x link? tors removed durablue axle race cut front fenders/also have new uncut front plastics that i swap on when i ride railroad beds..big rocks hurt!! custom grille chrome master cyl cover chrome stator cover/ whole left side cover chrome crank cover/ whole right side cover.. this was a 350 or 400$ peice chrome waterpump cover chrome round cover in middle of right side i have a clark large capacity fuel tank that i never installed extra +12 swing arm extra set of rear tires extra set of 4 rims now has the yamaha shock covers probably more things ive missed....

i dont even know man thats why i started that thread, ill tell you i paid 2800 for it a year ago but i got it from a freind so i know i got a good deal on that. now since then ive put at least 1500 into it. i know obviosly im not gonna get all that back out of it but i just decided to sell it and i havent had any offers so im still thinking about a price.

oh he had sent me some pm's about maybe being interested in mine. heres some pics from last year before i did a bunch of other mods over the winter...im selling cause i have no where to ride around my house and ive put like 2k into it and have only gotten to ride it like 5 times since i bought it a year ago.

no honestly though if you want it for trails and streams and wat not i would go with bike 1 because bike 2 has custom painted fenderless plastics which = fail for trail riding. and all around id say bike 1 would be a better trail bike.

i forgot to tell you that before i got this bike it was used for drag racing only for most of its life. when i got it it had a huge swing arm on it and a set of slicks, i put a new stock swing arm on and new tires. so this thing hasent seen much abuse considering it wasnt off road much. EDIT: bike also has a durablue axle

the pics are from last summer so ive instaled a few things since then that arent in the pics ie. nerf bars and alot of chrome on the engine i also have a new set of fenders if the buyer dosent like the trimed front fenders and a clark high capacity tank. and to the above poster, ive never heard of je pistons on a banshee either but thats what my buddy said was installed :shrug: ill get pics of the warrior tomorrow

well im finally looking to sell my 2000 banshee, i paid 2800 for it 1 year ago and ive put about 1500 or 2k into it.but i really dont know what its worth so im looking for some opinions. its in near mint condition mods are.. ok so i just went out to the garage and to check it out and now the throttle works fine?? i guess it was frozen. so how do i prevent it from sticking again so easily i mean i only rode it for like 5 min and it got stuck. and if i do decide to go back to the thumb throttle what cable do i need to buy? just the stock cable or do i need a special one because i have the TORS removed? sorry for the newb question lol

yes i have open dual K&N elements and i was riding in the snow so i guess thats possible.. and the other day it did the same thing for a second after i washed it outside in the cold but then it came unstuck and worked ok until now.. i have the TORS removed already and i have the stock thumb throttle that i want to put back on but im not sure if i have to switch the cable to do so and im not sure what has to be done with the wires coming out of the stock thumb throttle asembaly? can i use the same cable?

well i have a problem with my banshee i was riding the other day and the twist throttle got stuck at full throttle so i quick turned the key off and relized some how the insides of the twist throttle came apart and im screwed i had to walk back home in the snow to get my other 4 wheeler to tow it home and i couldnt find rope so i had to use jumper cables to tow it hahahaha anyways... anyone know what could be wrong with the thing? if i twist the throttle it dosent spring back it just stays wide open..what should i do now?

i think the yellow looks good on the before pics but purple and yellow together are ugly.. the new pics look sweet though and id ditch the gold rims ive always hated them

so from what i understand when you take the bowls off you can see the main jet its the brass hexagon thingy where the hell are the pilot jets? im running 32:1 yamalube tranny level seems pretty good.. i havent checked the spark whats the best way to check the stregnth of the spark..

im getting ready to try and order some jets can anyone tell me which ones to order? at least a range of ones to order so i can try them all and see what works best

then why is the engine in your sig sitting on a bench and not in the bike....lol just kidding

the one thing id like to do though after installing these pods is make an alluminum plate to go between the frame rails behind the filters to act as a deflector for water and mud

plus yor gonna spend like 40 or 50 bucks for used ones and there most likely gonna be beat so just save your money and buy some that will last and perform alot better

dude i just bought a set of pod filters and they are the nicest setup ive seen around..there a bit pricey but well worth it for a high quality and very durable and reusable elements plus they come with the velocity stacks the make a big difference..here is the link i highly recomend these pods undefined
