  1. Yes. The V4's like one size larger pilot than normal. So I would start with a 30.
  2. He is! Clue #1- Yo bro you got a hole in dat piston. Everybody pays for their education. So go to college and some go to the school of hard knocks. (I speak from experience since I had a Trinity motor once.) Relax....everyone learns at their own pace. He'll figure it all out sooner or later. Besides, pissing away money will at least help keep this economy moving.
  3. Glad to hear I have a couple of followers. LOL TRINITY = 2 stroke V.D. (your going to want to see a professional to get that treated.) Your going to need to do a compression check as well as a squish measurement. Because there is no reason that bike should have needed 380 mains previously. With your current jetting it might be as easy as dropping those needles to adjust for the heat........but since we have "Trinity" in the conversation, then we need to assume your already in DETONATION LAND. So while it's that hot out, you might as well spend your down time learning a little more about your topend set-up before shit gets real and you end up having to learn about rebuilding an entire top end.
  4. LMFAO That's been a joke of mine since back in my BMX days. I can see it now......."Windy is responsible for the latest trend of running Helium in your tires"..... Instead of internet punks telling 100 mph stories, they will instead be telling tall tails of jumping ridiculous heights and distance thanks to Helium balloon technology. Then will begin the trend of running much larger tires all around for more hangtime. "Dude! What do you think would happen if I filled my frame with it too?" LOL Carry on....
  5. Turn the motor over and let it all drain out your freshly ventilated piston......
  6. ......so who created the market for Billet cases, triple cylinders and more CP cylinders than I can count. Let's not forget stage 5 Elkas for a machine that is widely seen as poor handling. Granted, Titanium hasn't dropped into a very affordable range. But we have all seen titanium frames. So....given time we'll eventually see a member post pics of some crazy machine with all the latest offerings in modern Aluminum alloy's and Titanium combined with a new 800+cc 2-stroke with EFI Direct injection and helium filed tires. Knowing fate....It'll have Raptor plastics and we'll all hate it and razz the guy till he bounces. LOL

  8. So the question was 44 or 48 LECTRONS? The answer?.......39 PWK. Reading is fundamental. ......
  9. You have a PM....
  10. Finally back on topic.
  11. Perfect! You can have it your way and you can have it today.
  12. The you should be able to tell people at the time of ordering that it will be 6 months. It shouldn't "End up taking" longer. I can understand why you have been backed up since before banshees came out......you had a day job till just recently. 30+ years of side jobs is fine. Burger King has been pumping out burgers for a long time too. That doesn't mean they make the best burgers.
  13. Then why is he running 114? Running octane that high in a motor set-up for pump gas is actually lowering his power.....
  14. In general....to much of a "top end power" kind of motor. The cubs only really shine in the higher RPM's. Other than the occasional drag race...the cub will be a bad fit for your kind or riding. (Some will claim to be able to ride almost anything in the trails) but I feel that a cub is overkill for the kind of riding your into. If you have never ridden a well built stock style cylinder bike...then your in for a treat. I'd contact a site sponsor about building a nice ported 4 mill. Don't go talking about dragracing. Just get a good play port. HJR FAST REDLINE They can all hook you up. Don't chase big HP numbers. 60-65HP is a ton of fun and won't be an overpowered handfull that needs a massive swingarm.
  15. ....informative thread?..... This guy posted a question in the DRAG SECTION and your contrabution was "is this an alky drag motor?"....Duh.... You have owned a 611DM and you couldn't even answer the question yet! Obviously I was being sarcastic....but I still don't see your answer......Thanks for playing anyway.
  16. If a builder takes months to build your motor, they either have Attention Deficit Disorder, Dyslexia, or a separate Full time job. Cameron at REDLINE RACING builds some top notch motors and he has turnaround times So Fast that he needs to put in a second drive-thru lane like McDonald's. LOL Plus he has 2 in house dyno's for testing, tuning and R+D. Passion doesn't even have a dyno...........
  17. It doesn't hold up to sand. First ride they will be frosted.
  18. Agree. Kill 3 birds with one stone. #1 - quickly get's swingarm out. #2 - get all new bolt/shaft/ bearings #3 - drop that stupid heavy dumb stock swingarm in the scrap bin and jump into a light chromoly arm with the round Honda style carrier like EVERY new atv uses. Then sit back and enjoy NEVER dicking with the old factory design every time you need to adjust a chain or mess with gearing. Take pride in knowing you have removed one of the more major flaws in the stock Banshee design.
  19. No they are not. You must have gone to the same internet engine school as Harry over at Trinity Racing..... Jacking compression and timing (more often than not) will just increase heat. These are not car engines. These are "Resonant motors". We're not building twin cylinder pipe bombs here...... Servals come set up for pump gas. Testing showed they don't like a lot of timing. You can modify them to be completely different....but if you wanted a motor so high strung that it needs 114.....why would you have gone with the Serval? What is the compression ratio on this motor?
  20. Holy Crap! WOW It's one thing to say too much.....get a yellow streak of political correctness and take back a comment. But to totally delete your own post? WTF? You said it....now OWN IT. What's the matter Cam....you planning on having Jim build your next motor?
  21. That's an acceptable answer. (Anything but that outfit you were thinking of sleeping with before.) LOL
  22. New member.......doing a search and not knowing posts are that old. Answer is still the same.........Hit it with your purse Sally!
  23. Nice edit Cam. :sorcerer: That's a killer moonwalk.
