  1. If that guy has that much experience….he would know a stock motor is worth a grand! I had a Trinity motor for a few years and spent ALL of that time dealing with Trinity's incompetence. So it's highly possible your just the first guy he decided to dump that pile of problems onto. I sold mine to a guy on the other side of the country because I didn't want that problem on my doorstep. I'm not saying 100% that it's total junk…….but it's 100% likely. LOL
  2. As I said before.....Trinity. That's as far as I needed to read. Can't keep the head sealed with a weld!
  3. Trinity build = Detonation and blown O-ring/Head gasket. Compression is getting into cooling system and pressurizing it. That's why when you rev it the water flows out all the wrong places and the system pressure spikes.
  4. Nope, they will bolt right up. Only issue will be what weight they were set-up for. if your 200 pounds and the shocks are set-up for 160….they will feel pretty soft. But MOST of the shocks out there are set-up for the heavier range.
  5. Possum……droppin knowledge.
  6. Well stock is crap and about as functional as a Honda 300EX shock. WORKS are a massive upgrade from stock and will transform almost any machine into a completely different animal. They aren't as nice a higher quality brand like My ELKA's, but I have a set of Dual Rate WORKS on my general purpose Banshee and for the money they are a dream. If the shocks aren't blown out and you can get them for $200…..Grab that shit up!
  7. Not heavy enough to strip out the 15-20 year old foot peg threads……..so a weld should have held up. I see guys running those aluminum foot pegs that are held together with ONE bolt and I cringe, but I have yet to see pics posted of one failing. (I'll stick with my IMS pegs.)
  8. Hell....just read this post instead of adding on. Go to page one and read for crying out loud.....
  9. You heard wrong. Do a search. This has been covered in depth. Buy the 4's and go up one size on your pilot. You won't be sorry.
  10. Hey, you're in my neck of the woods. Sounds like you're getting good suggestions for your build. Buy the v-4 reeds for this set-up. You won't be sorry. They have great throttle response and big gains around 7500rpm. Are you planning on riding Baldwin's trails, Badlands as well as dune riding?
  11. LOL Well if that's the definition of bulking up, then l'm sure sure I can match you in sets. Unfortunately it leads to a swoll life that I'm sure doesn't properly match your definition of Swoll. Powerlifting powdered donuts and chocolate milk FTW. LOL
  12. Eat less cheeseburgers. Everyone is one good shit away from dropping all the weight you would loose switching to Titanium fasteners.
  13. I have one that's polished and clear coated, comes with a 36mm Air Striker carb, filter and throttle cable…... Pm me if your interested.
  14. Good pipes. Toomeys T-5's would rev a little higher and gain 2-3 peak HP….but they give away too much bottom end to be worth it. I'd stick with the FMF's over the T6 pipes for your basic bolt-on bikes.
  15. I'm one who is a fan of the Graydon intake on bikes. We have two 370 motors in our group, one with twin Mikuni 28's and the other with a Graydon intake and a single 35 Air Striker. They are neck and neck both on the dyno and out in the real world. BUT……Even having said that…..I wouldn't put one on a 421 Serval or a Cub.
  16. PWK's are definitely easier to make adjustments to. But Mikuni's can be swapped from Gas to Alky and back without issue. Once the PWK's get set up for Alky, that's pretty much it. Cameron likes the PWK's and if you stick with them he can probably advise you on jetting your 7 mill.
  17. Sorry, maybe I should have been a little more clear…….If you just want your Banshee to sound a little louder, you should try pulling your head out of you're ass a little bit. (Not all the way, or you would hear everyone laughing at your punk ass) If you can get 1/2 an earlobe out past your stink eye, then you might find the volume of your weak ass machine to be satisfactory. If not, then you should take the quality advice I gave before and spend your limited intellectual ability researching how to make more power. Here is a little tip that you might not have considered….if the motor made more power…..it would make more noise. "From what you have always seen???" Your friend JUST told you about cutting the silencers and you asked US about it! You obviously knew NOTHING about it till your friend told you, so don't talk like your Captain Experience. But hey, don't take my word for it…..why not ask your Uncle Daddy or one of your older Brother Cousins what they think.
  18. Bent and worn shift shaft or bent and worn shift forks. Or both. Time to get a good look inside the cases.
  19. Yes. Building bikes to be loud is stupid. Build your bike to be powerful. Volume is for posers. Loud =Loud .....not fast. Noisy pipes, wheelies and burnouts are all infatuations of the clueless. And top speeds.......
  20. He wasn't BSing you.....he honestly believes that shit. It's still hogwash.
  21. X2 Time for some UPP intakes.
  22. T-5's are Cub killers. Ditch them fast. Then a small bore pipe is your best call.
  23. ^^^^^ Isn't it Coors Light?
  24. Price is right around the cascade price.... Pick either one and run em.
  25. I have the Cascades and they work flawlessly. The twin bolts still let the rubber move...just not rip like factory ones eventually do.
