Wow that's a good link. I had Trinity sparkys in the past and they were nice looking units. Frankthetank just ordered a set of CPI pipes and needs sparkys. That's the hot ticket! Unfortunately it requires putting a Trinity part on your machine. (but since it's part of your machine's butt hole...it seems an appropriate place to put it.) LOL

This is the THIRD POST about Alba screwing up a simple A-arm package. How hard is it to pick an order and box it up?
-
Don't let 14 years of poor running machines that are down on power and loud as fuck be a ringing endorsement for others. LOL Packing is your friend. It needs to be there for more than just noise.

Sounds like your too smart to listen to good advice. Your mind is already made up. If you have a title in your hand and don't register it……you are a fool. If you want to know the laundry list of reasons why……do a search. I've it covered in IN DEPTH previously, but won't now. The reason?……see my first comment.

So the Trinity Cub motor I tore down yesterday that had a sqish of .029 at the cylinder wall and .027 at the edge of the squish band, might be a bit tight? LOL
-
Not who I was referencing. That joke goes just a tad deeper. LOL

Number of times these posts end up being the CDI?..........Never.

No, your worst nightmare would be spending money for a port job .....and loosing 5HP. LOL

I have some St. Joe dates listed in the rides section.

Jesus fucking Christ….It was a typo. I just said that. I just quoted myself to clarify it. WTF? It's not enough to COMPLIMENT YOUR 120 HP?….I have to post a sheet making it look weak for you to be happy? You're not going to find 120HP Cubs on GAS, because to hit that mark requires ALKY, or more cc's than a 10 mill. (That's why I choose to compare performance by HP per CC's) Anyone who is going to build a 12- 18 mill Cub is going to be the kind of person who runs alky. You can do a Torque pre CC's ratio too since bigger motors like the DM's tapper off on the HP gains, but still see big improvements in the torque department.

I'm looking for any feedback on ride conditions at Finger Lake Missouri. (As in, have you ridden there last season? How was it?) I'm hearing conflicting info on trail maintenance and ride conditions. I don't want to plan a trip, only to waste a weekend to a rutted up mess of an area. This might be a family trip with the wife and kids, so I'm not looking to have the kids bars ripped out of their hands, or spend my weekend getting kids un-stuck from mud. Also, If have ridden both St. Joe and Finger Lake….how do you rate the two on a scale of 1-10? I've ridden St. Joe, but this would be my first trip to Finger Lake.

Yeah I said that in the first line. (Sorry I didn't type "Per CC" in that first line. But I have clearly made the "Per CC point this entire time.) But if you were intelligent enough to read something and absorb the entire context, you would get my point and read my final statement as seen above. ^^^ Your Cheetah motor DOES make less power per CC than Cubs. (If that statement makes you mad…go in the other room and cry about it.) Your motor DOES NOT have power valves (So you're already in my camp on that) Not to mention your COST PER HP is through the roof compared to a Cub. You were fighting for your pride with me on this topic back when your motor was only making 97HP! YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS A DOG TILL YOU DYNO'D IT AND SOMEONE ELSE CONFIRMED WHAT I ALREADY KNEW!!!!! BACK THEN you thought your motor was the shit! But let's not talk about your investment in multiple builders, multiple configurations, 3 dyno sessions (working on your 4th) and the money you blew to finally get that number with a Cheetah set-up.... FFS….if you wanted a motor that big…..you could have built a 4-10 mill DM for less money.
-
Fixed. LOL
-
Mike....we've been over this before. YOU HAVE A STRONG MOTOR! YES 120 IS A FUCK TON OF POWER But well built cubs make more power per cc. Show you a 120hp cub? Well your motor is 535. Most cubs are 421 or 465. Talk to Mat and he'll tell you a 465 cub can hit 110 on gas no problem. Call Cameron and he'll tell you he's built 3 that hit 111-112. A 465 that makes 110 is making .236 hp per CC A 535 that makes 120 is making .224 hp per CC IF YOUR CHEETAH WAS AS EFFICIENT AT MAKING POWER AS A CUB....535 x .236 = 126 hp So i'm not saying smaller cubs make 120. I'm saying the cub design with SMALLER intakes, pistons, reeds, etc....is a better design because it makes more HP per CC. Your talking a top number....but that's Apples vs. Oranges if you don't convert to hp per cc. I'm talking about a motor design and it's efficiency. I'm talking Cub vs. Cheetah

……Or 3,543,786 different opinions. (If you're not running alky) Get some 2-stroke synthetic from anywhere you want and run it. (Don't change brands once you do.) These machines started out running NON-Synthetic Yamalube. ANYTHING Synthetic is a step up. Some burn cleaner than others, but they will all get the job done for you.

CT customer ^^^ Happy with his 47HP build. (shaped intake bigger and raise exhaust port 1 mill.) Thinks it RIPS. (Don't they all?) My list of top 3 places NOT to get motor work - Trinity (Duh) Alba (Ha) CT (..meh)
