  1. thanks, Now is there a difference between brands on cool heads, I am looking at the vitos hemi head, basically because it looks cool but I also want a well performing head. My banshee runs really strong when the motor it cooler, and looses some of its punch as it warms up.
  2. I have boysen power reeds, but I heard if i bought the vforce3 reeds/cages it would be a big improvement.
  3. I am getting a new head, does it matter what brand? Also what would I see more results from a new head, or vforce 3 reeds?
  4. I run +7 timing and like it alot! I am getting a new head and heard that I would have to back it down about 2 degress in order to still run 93 octane with the higher compression.
  5. Any one else with some suggestion? wjhat about compared to a cool head?
  6. will I notice more lowend? I would like to go back up in gearing, I dropped to a 13 tooth this weekend and like the low end, but i lost 4mph and doen't seem to pull on top like it used to. How do you like the 15 tooth?
  7. with the setup that I have, what should I have my head milled to? Also, what exactly can I expect from this?
  8. a lot of bullshitters out there! 06 banshee-tr6 pipes-boysen reeds-timing advanced +7-k&n no lid- stock gearing at 84mph, 13 tooth front slowed to 80mph.all with 255lb rider
  9. Advance your timing, timing plate, and some holeshots or maxxis razor tires for much better traction.
  10. I bought the chariot performance timing plate, and it is nice, looks great and does what it is supposed to, goes up to plus 10 I believe. My mechanic even asked me about it, said it looked like a nice quality piece. I also saw the head, hell of a deal!
  11. from what i have heard, the t6 can be good but only with a mild port job. I am not looking to be too radical, i just want to be fast enough to shut up the 450s. I am in florida, no dunes, most guys just have 450s with bolt ons.
  12. check with cfm on here, I just bought a +2 swinger from him for not even half that. I went with the plus two because i think that it will help with the front wheels coming up, but still be short enough to pop some wheelies when i want, and still be able to make it through the tighter trails and not lose too much traction.
  13. I am getting a really good deal on a vitos hemi head and some wiseco super stock pistons, has anyone ever used this? I was told that with this upgrade I would have a huge increase all around. My banshee is only 9 months old and i am wondering if i should wait on the pistons until i need to rebuild the top?My banshee does 84mph now and they say i should do an easy 90mph when done, what do you guys think?
  14. I just ordered a +2 from cfm also can't wait to install it!
  15. +2 would probably be better, if you have one. I wasn't sure what to go with, if i need alonger chain and brake line i will take that also
  16. I have the same exact set up except for t6 pipes and I run +7 and still use 93 octane.
  17. I hear 40:1 and 32:1 so i mix 36:1 with no problems, check your plugs, and see how wet the exaust tips get.
  18. I was thinking of using some yfz450 shocks down the road but stock for now. Are the arms +2 each side for a total of 4 inches wider? sorry for the dumb question!
  19. will the lsr or magnum +4 arms work with stock springs and everything else stock?
  20. thanks i will look for the extenders
  21. I am faster in the long run, but the problem is they all know this and want to race shorter distances. is a shaved/milled head as good as a cool head for the money?
  22. I was looking at vitos hemi head, and some superstock pistons. would i be better off waiting on porting until i have everything else done?
  23. I saw a stock head that was shaved, how would that compare to a cool head?
  24. I need some advice, so where better to go? I have an 06 banshee with...toomey t6 pipes - k&n no lid - advanced timing plate - boysen power reeds. I have a birthday coming and want to add some more, I ride with alot of 450's, we race and ride trails. right now everyone is really close in speed until extreme top end, that belongs to me at 84mph. I am not the lightest person at 255, and I also am not as experienced of a rider as some of the guys i ride wtih. I need the most bang for my buck!! What are the best mods that i can do next for under $500? Any and all advie is appreciated!!
