The stitches are staples and a rubberband to help pull the wound shut. I still need knee surgery and and may have to redo the plate in my leg because the dr put in too small of a plate! I am supposedly supposed to be out for a little over a year, but may never bee 100% again. As long as i keep my leg I will be happy!

believe it or not, the banshee poped the bead on the front tire, and bent the handle bars a tiny, almost unnoticeable, amount. I believe that when I went over the bars the front arms hit my leg or my leg got tangled in the bike? If it wasn't for my helmet, I would of definately had head trauma, and my riding pants helped keep the dirt out of my wound. gear is important!!

I was out riding my banshee with some friends, we were going down some pretty tight trails, and having a blast. All of my buddys ride four strokes and like to talk alot of shit. I am the only two stroke in the bunch. We all took turns taking lead down the trails, and we all talked shit on how the leader was alwys too slow. It came to my turn to lead and a couple of the guys said that the banshee was no good on trails, so I set out to prove them wrong. Tis tight trail is a good 2 miles long, when we started it didn't take too long and I had left everyone in the dust except a guy on a suzuki 400, so I pushed a little harder. I had gone done the trail a few times and thought I knew what I was doing, I came to a straight away and nailed it. I was in 4th or 5th gear haulin ass when I saw the section of really bad deep short woops. It was too late to slow down so I leaned back and hoped for the best. I hit about 2 or three woops and stated to bounce forward on my bike. I knew this was going to be bad!! I went over the bars and the bike beat the shit out of me!! I rolled over on the ground and saw my leg bent the wrong way, ouch!! It has been three monthes since I have been able to walk, almost lost my leg, and still have more surgery to do on my knee. I did smoke them, only one was close enough to see the wreck, when the rest got there they thought I was being sarcastic and laying in the trail as if to say what took you so long? I will ride again!!

I hate to do it, but I need to sell my banshee and honda 250. I bought this banshee less than a year ago brand new. You can see in my signature what mods I have. the honda is a 2004 trx250ex will sell for $1,800, will make a deal if you want both. I still owe $5,800 on the banshee. this bike is clean and not rode too hard. still have great compression and has never been rebuilt. both are cleaned and maintained every time they are ridden. I also have an open 6x12 trailer w/drop gate to sell if I get rid of the atvs. I may trade the 250 for a decent good running car or small truck. can email pics, it will not let me post. sorry

I have a new spring with a higher spring rate to put on, I just wanted to jack up the rear a little also. I guess i will have a bracket made, just looking to see everyones ideas.

I know i can get a new spring but I would like a more level ride without having too stiff of a spring. ever since i went to a +2 swinger, i ride lower. nobody has ever wanted to raise the rear a little? :shrug:

has anyone ever tried to lift the rear of the banshee? what is the best way with out spending alot of money? can i use a longer shock, or just remount the shock to a higher location? I want to lift it enough so it sits level and doesn't squat so much when i sit on it.

would my set up be better with 19cc domes? I like the more power down low, it just feeels like i need another gear now! I am probably going up to 280 main and mix race/ premium gas, that should help right?

I just put on a vitos hemi headII, it said that i would probably have to change my jetting. I went from 120 to 170 psi in both cylinders. I lost 2 mph on top, but seems to be alot quicker on getting there. Would i need to go bigger on my main jet or smaller? I am in florida near sea level with 270 mains.

Stock shock is 8" stock spring rate is 5.4 yours is 6.7 this will work for me, I just need to drop a few pounds. lol! I will pay the extra buck to pay with paypal if thats ok, I figure it would be faster, and that you could ship it to me sooner. thanks I will pm you with my address.
