Wow Josh, that really helped. Thank you so much! I will run those 10 degree K&N pods, and I think I want the bracket too. Then all I'll need is one more carb and the intake. Thanks so much!

Price is very negotiable -
Ok... so can I just not use the overflow at all? Or should I try and mount it back up... where would I finf this aluminum bracket, and where would it mount on the frame if I lose the airbox? I would really like to run K&N's right up to the carbs... where would I finf these "10 degree" angles flanged pod filters at?
-
What do I do about my overflow bottle? Lose that to? Thanks guys... Does K&N make the filters I am looking for to attach right to the carbs?
-
What should I be looking for? Any specific brands? I want to attach the filters right to the carbs somehow as I have seen it done... do I need a kit? I have 1 pwk 35 carb already and cable, just need another. Also, with the 2 carbs, how do the 2 cables work with the thumb throttle? If anybody has what I need, or can help me out, let me know. I am ready to buy, just need some direction.

Switching to dual 35mm keihin's... so I need the intakes, another 35 pwk airstriker (and cable), I would prefer to lose the airbox and adapt the K&N pods right onto the carbs somehow. My bike is down right now as I sent the jugs to Kevin to do alot of work. Probably be on their way back at the end of this week. So I decided to make the switch. Help me out guys! Tell me what you guys got...

Just wanted to see if anyone is interested. With the type of riding I do, I think I am switching to dual 35's. So if anyone is interested, let me know. This will just be the kit, not the carb. Will come with the intake from the jugs (billet), the airbox adaptor, a pro-flo airbox adaptor, and a k&n filter with outerwears. This will work with stock airbox obviously. Let me know if anyone is interested. $200 pics soon

Need black or orange plastics... let me know what you got. I am going with one of thse two colors

Help making sure the shee isnt ragged on

I agree with everythnig here... don't feel like a goof looking over the whole bike. I usually loook at the cosmetics, then I go over little stuff like the bearings and seals. Then I would definately push the kicker or do a comp. test. Alot of guys want to sell a banshee because it is losing the compression and ready to go = they are too lazy to do the top end. Then they sell it. Just check that out maybe, and I would check the chain, and definately stuff like the axle and a-arms for signs of being bent... And oh yes.... take it for a burn! -
I have a brand new set of front rims that I can sell...

It will be crowded for sure... be safe out there. Alot of first time visitors have taken a roll backwards because they were not familiar with the place or what they were doing. Just be safe and watch where everyone is at. Have fun

ahhh yes, that picture is a good one! Hey man, I know the feeling. Hangover half the day, by the time ya feel like kicking over the bike, well it's later. I am fortunate that I do the majority of the riding right across rt. 61 from my house in the "Black Dessert" But definately those tires are heavier than most... I know. The Dirt Devils are a tad lighter but don't hook nearly as good. And the Razr 2's... well they hook great, but man do they wear quick. There is no tire to settle for with all great results, that is for sure. I asked around on here numerous times, but it is hard as all terrain is different, especially ours from most other areas. But I think if you have the money, and don't mind puttin g a set of tires on a few times a summer, the razr 2's are a good choice. I still have these dirt devils since last september, and I put many hours on them. They wear beautifully... but they don't hook like a swamper. Keep in touch man -
I want to change the look of "Delilah" lol (we all name our quads in our crew, although you cannot name your own... it's gay I know) Every quad I see is blue... I wanted to go all orange on the plastics, and powdercoat the frame a metallic green. Any other suggestions woulod be nice... But where can I find plastics the cheapest? I am looking for new, and if they are used, would like shiny ones

xXBlessed... These guys don't understand how these tires hook on the hills! I would LOVE to run smaller tires, but I won't due to these monster coal hills swallowing them up. Swampers or Dirt Devils for me! Super Swamper TSL's or Vampires go together like peanut butter and jelly! 22" Let me know when you are heading down coal hill next... I hope I have the motor back together soon... And yes, your bike is looking awesome... -
My mods down below in the sig... Not sure if I want to keep the single carb though
-
I would really like to switch to 2 of them... I'll see what Kevin says over the phone tomorrow. Or maybe he will see this before then... I also know the 2 is the way to go, but like I said, I bought the bike like this, and even though I would have liked 2, I couldn't pass up the deal on this bike. But I would like more opinions on the size... sure would be nice to just have to get one more 35 pwk
-
Also... I know it has been talked about before, but why should I go to 2? I read about the snopcynski (sorry if I spelled wrong) doing a test. With my mods, am I benefitting from going to 2? Or should I stay with 1? I am really considering going to 2.
-
Ok guys... I bought my bike with the 2 into 1 carb and intake already on the bike. I really like it, I do... it is really friendly wherever I go, but I find myseld hillshooting and duning/dragging 24/7. Kevin Herr recommended going with the 2 carbs. My question is... with my mods below, what size should I go to? I was thinking 35 pwk strikers And another thing is... I see bansheeman is selling an intake. It looks really nice. Is 100 bucks a good deal for that intake?
-
Not at the momemt but I can snap a picture fot you when I get a chance later... I was thinking of keeping them in case I ever wanted to run the bike on pump gas or whatever but I don't see myself doing that. With what I just did to the bike, it'll never see pump gas again lol

Change the gearing... banshees are really sensitive to front sprockets, powerband delivery, etc. Hillclimbing is tricky when your sprockets are not set up for it. Hillclimbing is all I do... I have stock rear, 14 front with 22" dirt devils, plan to go to another tire though when these go balder

I can tell you one thing... I sent my jugs to Kevin Herr and anything I have questions about, whether it is through email, or over the phone, he is there to answer them. You can't tell me he doesn't have his hands full all day and all of a sudden the phone rings and he can just pick it up because he isn't doing anything... that guy is awesome. He answered the phone every time I called during business hours and it didn't matter how long I was on the phone with him. He cares that I am getting what I want. He is a great guy to deal with... and like I said, my jugs are not back yet, sent them out Thursday afternoon. But the whole process so far has been great. He is very knowledgeable, and is there to answer your questions... and I'll say it again... he wants you to be happy with what he sends back! I am sure the work will be thrilling... I have done alot of research on who I wanted to do my portwork and I chose Kevin because he is a great guy, he gets top notch feedback and I talked with many guys who had their work done by him. He knows his stuff... I learned that portwork is an art. You got average, good, and really good stuff... and from what I read, learned from others, etc... Kevin is awesome. I know what my bike had before... I will report back afterwards with the results. I know though I will not be disappointed. But for now I can tell you I never dealt with a busy businessman that handled customers like Kevin... I wouldn't go anywhere else. My buddies are waiting to see my bike run, and they will send theirs out to him as well. I am very excited to put this back together when the jugs come back... Thanks Kevin!!! You are the man!
