why dye your antifreeze? You can buy antifreeze in all different colors anyway. green, blue, yellow, red, and even pink if thats what you want

how much does a good port job go for? Im building my engine now but i plan on taking the top end off again in a few months when i save some money back up.

Are banshee cases supposed to look polished? I found mine is very shiney under the years of grease i took off in the parts washer! Maybe somebody polished it somewhere along the line? Anyway the rebuild is going very well. I cant wait to hear it run!

nevermind, for whatever reason i had one in my garage in a bucket of tools. I guess it fits something else but it worked just like the yamaha tool!

take the cap off and see if you can blow through it

Is there any way around buying a puller to remove the flywheel?

I just bought a 00 banshee i thought only needed a top end till i took it apart and found at the least a rod to be bad. Now the engine is out and im about to start tearing it down tomorrow. I bought a stroker crank and rods assembly and found somebody to bore the cylinders when the time comes, i also sourced some new stroker cool head domes for higher cr. I have the book but does anybody have any tips or pointers to getting the job done? thanks

Im looking for a non running older banshee. Im kinda tight on cash otherwise i would buy a running one but im good at working on them so it doesnt matter. I have cash and a few bikes if somebody wants to do a trade or partial trade for one of my bikes and some cash. I have an 84 yz125, an 85 yamaha 200 3 wheeler, and an 81 honda cb500 i lost the title to but can get one if somebody wants it. Im in NJ so let me know what you have. Thanks
