  1. Get rid of the boost bottle or your boots will crack again. Im thinking somehow electrical problem. Check your plug boots and make sure that you have good connections there.
  2. Yeah, you don't want to bend the wheel flange. Try the vice trick like stated above. It should squeeze it right out.
  3. They are fixing stuff that's messed up for free but, why go through the trouble. Just buy a hot rod crank and be done.
  4. I would say that your jetting is probably right. I'm not ported and am running 330 main. Yeah, I would run 32:1 on your fuel/oil mix. Clymers says 24:1 but no need. Just wastes oil. You might be a little bit too rich still. You might be running too much octane. Too much will make it run worse too. You could try bumping up your timing 2* more and go with the fuel you're running. Good luck with it. You should be spanking that YFZ.
  5. Ha ha ha. That's hilarious! Being a smart@$$ is better than being a dumb one.
  6. I think that if I didn't have heal guards, I would be more concerned with boots. My ac nerfs are pretty protective. The shifter looks good to me.
  7. I agree. Plus....I forgot to measure that thing today. Will do it tomorrow, if I remember.
  8. I haven't had to do this, but I would if I hurt myself. I don't see why it wouldn't work. A lot of Harleys have this setup and they seem to work just fine. You can't let something like an injury stop you from riding. Ride it like you stole it.
  9. When I get a chance, I can stand mine up on its back end and take some measurements. I'll take them criss crossed from several places for you. It'll be tomorrow before I do it though.
  10. Plus one on this one. It's pretty snappy now for sure. Vforce3s don't have any stops. I'm thinking that the actual cage will flow better than stock. This adds some power. So you're getting some power and amazing throttle response. Worth the money to me.
  11. Yeah. It really sounds like electrical to me. Id say try sanding the very outside of your stator. Rust will act as in insulator and make stuff not work properly.
  12. Since it's jacked up. You should get the eliminator kit and just get rid of it.
  13. I'm gonna do it, now that's it's been brought up a second time. I just plum forgot about it untill now. Do you think that siliconized caulk would be denser material and work better? Just a thought. I am doing this soon.
  14. I was gonna say that its .5mm and not 5.0mm. 5.0 is huge overbore.
  15. The way that the a arm and spindle meet is at a really bad angle. I'm going to raise my a arm mount up an inch or two and that should get it aligned better. I'm thinking it will help that suspension setup handle better too.
  16. I'm not sure if stock ones do or not. I would say not.
  17. Think I'm gonna make some brackets to move the lower a arm mounts up an inch or two. Sort of extend what's there up. Then balljoint geometry would be a lot better.
  18. The top is before and the bottom is after. I raised the front up about 2 inches. Now I can actuall get a wheelie out of it. I need some razrs though.
  19. You mentioned that it does this when your hauling ass in 5th and 6th gear area. Could it be running out of fuel? Just a thought.
  20. The reason for race fuel is high compression. Race fuel wont cause detonation, nor will it cause engine problems. I'm with everybody who said don't waste your money. It will actually make your bike run worse. It sure smells good though.
  21. Where you been racing at in missouri? I'm an hour south of Kansas City. Your jetting seems close with your mods listed. You could try a touch leaner just to see.
  22. I've got t-5s on my quad. For bolton performance and slight engine work, i'd say that they are a really good pipe for that. If you're planning on doing a 4 mill and big port job, you might want something else. T-5s will work really well on a mostly stock machine too.
  23. Yeah. Kerosene in the washer is the ticket. Then something stouter for hard to clean stuff and smooth surfaces for gaskets and so on.
  24. Thanks for that one. I didn't know that. I knew mine handled pretty well in dirt on turns. I have to check mine again now and see where it's at.
  25. Tie rods will adjust the toe in and out. You want just a touch of toe out in my opinion.
