  5. I dont know much about sand but we ride in coal and for the most part its like sand. powder, very fine but with extreme dust. this is what most of the hill shooters use and the ones that want killer traction on hard or soft surfaces. but for the record if you rip up and down the road it will eat your tires. hope it helps. http://www.intercotire.com/site26.php If you look at my tires on the pic below, thats about half tread.
  6. i put in belray 40.1 every 2 gal i use 6oz of oil.
  7. My premix is belray and the oil is Maxima 80wt
  8. for the most part its only the right side and i use a Ratio Rite Measuring Cup measured at 40.1. ounces i realy dont know but when i mixed 70.1 it wasnt much oil at all. i used automatic tranny fluid today to see what happened and its all over the inside of the plugs. its a much thinner oil. i`m guessing my crank is filled with it. if i`m lucky its only a seal. i would have pulled the cases today to look but this heat is crazy. maby in the morning.
  9. it constantly fouls plugs. i mixed it 70.1 to see if it would smoke a lot and it does. all electrical is new, gaskets, seals, topend. used a different carb. i`m thinking the center case or cases are cracked feeding oil into the cylinder.
  10. i use belray at 40.1
  11. i think my case oil is leaking into the cylinder. if i put automatic transmission fluid in my tranny and it leaked would my plugs turn red? this would be one way i could figure this out if it did.
  12. magnafluxing is what its called (thanks). What exactly should i do for that leakdown test? the cases look fine but i dont know. it blows smoke and its very lean. all i can think it could be is the case being cracked.
  13. ok, i replaced all electrical. every thing. used a different carb. i even pulled the gear next to the clutck on the crank and replaced it. i figured maby it was wore and oil is leaking into the crank. i even mixed 70 to 1 to see if it would smoke a lot and it did. when i replaced the crank new seals were installed. radiator level is good, tranny oil looks good. the heads not leaking. this is like a bad dream. i`m going to split the case and take it to a shop where they spray it and put it under a blacklight to look for cracks. i dont remember what this is called but its cheaper to do that and get it welded then buy new cases if thats the problem. from there i`m going to install new gaskets and seals, and shave the head. if anyone has a last idea before i brake it down let me know. i`ll start stripping it in the next 15 hours or so. thanks for the posts. This is my 87 Banshee. yea i know the flowers just dont cut it but its not about the dam flowers lol.
  14. Can someone send me in the direction of a good after market coil. just not ricky stator or rm.
  15. ok, i put on a new harness, cdi, stator and flywheel. same shit. the right cylinder carbons up in about 15 min or so then fouls. i`m using this from a working bike to find the problem. in the morning i`m going to try the coil and that box next to the coil. voltage reg. i think it is. i used a different carb and got the same results. my question is that if its not the coil what could it be? it is a ricky stator and all i hear is shit about him (true or not) i hear it.
  16. That looks good. i was thinking of doing that since the ignition took a shit but i`m not sure how reliable them switches are. like with mud and all but it looks good.
  17. I`m looking for seat foam that is cut. i really dont want to fuck mine up but i`m looking for the foam that is cut closer to the front so its higher in the back. kinda like a seat in the seat. i cant find a picture but maby someone will know what i`m talking about. thanks.
  18. Cut them, or at least the front.
