  1. You bring the beer right?
  2. once you get that all figured out you can get get STAINLESS STEEL BOLT KIT from ebay or rockymountain thats alenhead. they are a lot harder to strip. ebay This is a better price and if you order of $100 shipping is free rockymountainatv
  3. If your stator is wet it will run bad, thats if it runs at all.
  4. PM me a price on them parts i`ll see what i can do. i`m just interested in the pump cover.
  5. Yea what he said.
  6. The new pipes. 2" over swingarm goes on this weekend.
  7. i bet you want it on top of the air box so the water runs off and not into the box? if you find some let me know. i purchased a piece that has velcro for the top of the box and it dont hold for shit. that and when i clean the filter i have to take off the box to get to the velcro to get in the carb. now that piece sits in the banshee parts room.
  8. I just got a set of realy good Bills pipes today for $70. now i was wondering what color i could paint them to make my shee faster. i know, i know it has the tab welded to it that says Bill`s and to paint it that will have to come off so i would lose power but what color would make up for the tabs plus some more speed. even if it was 2 tone a kinda mix for street drag and hill shooter. purple/black for more speed or red/black for more power? no, i`m not a idiot i just need a laugh.
  9. If i was you i would check compression, clean the carbs, get a outware for the filter and take off the lid to the air box. then see what happens.
  10. I also have one. 35mm pwk carb. it was on the shee when i got it so i never had to mess with 2 carbs. its used it for trail riding and hill shooting. its less bullshit when you have to rebuild, clean or change jets. it pulls hard and keeps going. i would never go to stock carbs over a Trinity stage 4 setup.
  11. The last few weeks i would come to HQ to find posts like this. just to sit back and read some of this shit makes me laugh but when it comes down to it yous help me get the Shee running. I just had to share that.
  12. I have a rd tranny and i was thinking of swapping it with the banshee tranny. the gearing is different as you can see in the pic but what do you think would happen? faster gearing maby? what would be the results of the banshee?
  13. count your sprockets that the chain is on.
  14. going from 22 to 20 you will have more power and loose top some top end. if i were you i would keep it the way it is for trails. if you want more speed get 1 size smaller primary gear or vise versa.
  15. Thats kinda what i`m looking 4 but once i find a pic i`ll post it.
  16. your ignition has 4 wires. cut the ignition off. the black with white stripe and red with brown stripe need to be soldered . then solder the red and brown wires so you then have 2 wires. wrap them up in electrical tape (NOT TOUCHING) then your ignition will be eliminated. do you have your TORS hooked up? This link will take you to the banshee wiring diagram Wiring for your banshee
  17. your ignition has 4 wires. the black with white stripe and red with brown stripe need to be connected. then connect the red and brown wires so you then have 2 wires. or you can go farther down the harness fron the ignition switch and just connect the black wire to the red with brown stripe. if you do this choice disconnect your key switch. if that dont work its not your ignition.
  18. when i first split my case i noticed my clutch basket was like that so i found a good deal on a parts banshee and pulled off the side case to notice that that one was the same. it has some play between the hub and the gear behind it. as far as i know thats normal.
  19. I dont know what the port timing is. never heard of it.
  20. i think Its a stock crank. i did a swap for a tranny. if it was a stroker wouldnt i need a spacer plate? if so i dont have one so it would be stock. no porting except for the intake boot for the 2 in one carb. i was working on a 02 rm250 and the Vforce 3 reeds are in the same shape as mine. i`m not realy sure how old the reeds are. i got them in the bike (Dec) of last year. i want to thank every one for the responses. i love this sight. if it wasnt for you guys i would have sold her by now but settled for nothing less then a banshee and nothings better. this is a better pic. i flipped the reeds to get a better seal. the part that seals looks new. this is a pic of what did seal to the cage. Thanks Again.
  21. The pics came out bad this was the best one. i`ll post more better ones if i should, but you can see in the pics how the ends are a black color. it looks more wore then melted. this was the inner side of the reed i flipped them over. would this cause to much fuel to enter the cylinder causing it to foul plugs? any advice would help.
  22. I have the V force 3 reeds and the petals on the corners closest to the cylinders are melted. its not to bad but they look a little melted. all 8 look like this, 16 corners. its on the inner side of the reed so i flipped them over to see if they work better. i`m getting unburned fuel in my cylinders. has this happened to any one? i`ll have pics later on today to post.
  23. that would be it. thanks
  24. This may sound stupid but i just had this problem. it was the plug caps. inside the cap you have a round metal housing that the plug fits in. on my shee they opened so i didnt get a good connection with the plugs. i took off the boot and squeezed the housing so the plug was snug then it worked. it would shut off on me time to time. hope that works.
