my kill switch is a lanyard style for drag racing....it has a mount with a central button and a red rubber cap that goes over it and pushes the button in to, i guess, complete the circuit...when you pull the cap off it kills it....i would like to have a back up in case the rubber cap tears up or gets hard...any idea what type this is and where i could get a spare????....dbr

jeff told me the shift star mod and the "easy clutch mod" basically do the same thing so you don't need both...you might want to consider the straight cut gears and a lock up depending on how you intend to ride it...the clutch cover mod that allows access to the water impeller/drainage without pulling the whole cover such as the see through from Direct Drive CNC are very nice also...but, of course, all of this takes more and more $$$....dbr

i like the klotz supertechniplate at 32:1 for premix with 110 octane racing fuel and honda hp 80/85 in the tranny....dbr

the pro wedge's probably will hook harder but won't last as long...also, probably give you more top end but slower take off (tires are usually larger in diameter)...may need a change of sprockets to run them well....dbr

i think the exact recommended amount is 1.6 qts...should be stamped on the side of the case near the fill hole...i like the honda hp oil in the red bottle...80/85 weight...was recommended by jeff at F.A.S.T. ....dbr

???says $65 on ebay site...i think my coolant overflow tank has been removed for weight savings....might be good for some though...would like to hear some feedback from others that run alky....i haven't delved into that yet...dbr
