Im not too sure how they work though. am I able to set coordinates when I get to camp, then enter coordinates for another location or trail or something and itll direct me to there and back?
  7. what is that Garmin Emap worth? I havent even really started looking around yet. Thanks for the offer.
  8. Thinking of getting a nice handheld GPS unit to use, not only on my Banshee but for hiking, hunting, etc. Anybody have any recommendations or thoughts on what to get? I am very new to GPS.
  9. Damn it looks like everyone is saying dont go to Pismo/Oceano. Darn!
  10. hey guys, thanks for all the offers. I found a used pair locally.
  11. Ive got pics of all of these things now but they are too big to upload and I cant use hosting sites like photobucket at work. if anyone is interested, send me your email and zip and ill get you a price and send pics. Thanks. a-arm set is $140 plus shipping. heel guards are $40 plus shipping. front shocks are $100 plus shipping. rear grab bar is $40 plus shipping. front bumper is $40 plus shipping. trailer is $200, come pick it up. obo
  12. Thats what I heard. I just wanted a change of scenery for a short weekend trip. I dont plan to ride Pismo/Oceano often, I love Glamis. I was just thinking of checking it out at least once in my life.
  13. Im thinking of trying a new place in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Ive been riding Glamis a lot and have never been to Dumont or Pismo/Oceano Dunes. I need paddles for both locations, right? I have learned a lot about Oceano recently, about planning to arrive and leave around the low tide, etc etc etc....How early or late can I plan to get in or out in relation to the low tide? If low tide is at 2pm....how early should I be able to get in with my 2wd dodge ram pulling a small utility trailer with single quad on it? How does Dumont compare to Pismo as far as riding and camping? I like having the toilets at each location since I just camp in a tent, I have no hauler or motorhome. Thanks for any input or tips.
  14. forgot to mention that Ill be selling the stock a-arms as a kit. Includes both sides, upper and lower a-arms with ball joints, 3 rides on them. Also included are the stock tie rods. front shocks sold as a pair. heel guards as a pair. front bumper and rear grab bar seperately.
  15. Im located in Chino, Southern California for pickup or can ship these parts (except the trailer). I also work in north Orange County in Brea and can arrange pickup during the week at that location. I have stock a-arms, front shocks, heel guards, rear grab bar, front bumper for sale. All have only been used on 3 rides and come from a 2006 SE Banshee so they are all black. Make reasonable offers. I also have a new Habor Freight 4'x8' utility trailer. Its all put together already and has 3/4" plywood bolted down and painted white to prevent water damage. The wiring system needs to be grounded better though because they use the frame as a ground and its powdercoated so its not enough. This trailer folds up and has casters to roll it around for storage when not in use. The wheels on one side of the casters are missing so you can get new ones from HF, leave it unfolded, or just lift the one side and roll it around on the other side (its light enough). Hasnt been registered with DMV yet but I can give bill of sale and provide the company who imports them so you can get a MCO if you need one for your DMV. Its in great shape and hasnt been used yet. Trailer is red. I can email pics tonight if you want. $200 come pick it up!!!
  16. shoot, you are right. I need 4/115 bolt pattern for the rear. Ill keep looking but if anyone has any for sale, let me know. thanks.
  17. shoot. is that the same bolt pattern as the 04 raptor 350 then? thats what i need them for. sorry if i9 was incorrect.
  18. if anybody has a decent pair of rear sand paddle tires on rims for sale, id be interested in taking them off your hands. its for a 04 raptor 350 but im almost 100% positive its the same 4/100 bolt pattern as the banshee. Thanks guys! you can get me here or email at [email protected]
  19. no its just +2 a-arms. and Im not sure what the offset is...or if its too much. I just got the front rims and tires from Rocky Mountain and the rims are "4/156 Douglas .125 Wheel 10X6 2.0 + 4.0". Is that not good?
  20. Ordered my Elka Standard Dune Edition shocks and they arrived from Canada only a few days later. Ordered Wicked +2 +1 a-arms in deep candy purple powder coating on Christmas day. I had those in only a few days too. Great packaging on both and both very nice products. The installation on the a-arms was a breeze and Im extremely happy with the product and setup. Its just amazing compared to stock. I highly recommend both of these. Here are some pics:
  21. well shoot, I didnt think of that. Too late to pull caliper thru stock arms. I already removed the brake lines. Just need some fluid so I can bleed them next weekend. No biggie...I hope. Here are pics.
  22. I got mine yesterday, installed them today. Powder coating was beautiful on them and I love them hem joints. Installation was a breeze. Im just pissed that I had to remove the brake lines to get the stock upper a-arms off. Oh well. Now I just need to bleed them is all. awesome products!
